I did not answer the phone. It was from a different number, but it told me to call this number posted about a debt or something with a case number. I did not return the call.

We have a serious legal matter in our department that requires your immediate attention With quite a call back within 24 hours or we will have to continue with the process on our side Please call us right away at 844 599 57 43 You have been notified…” This is what they said with my name and case number, they called from a 915 number and said for me to call this 1-844 number

This is a scam for sure and not just a suspicion from some low life human beeing!  Do not answer! Do not call back the number or give any information! They are using a fake caller ID number and ask you to call a real number 844-599-5743 that they will keep using for only  a short time until reported on the Internet too widely. Real collection company will send you a mail not just a threatening phone call.

I just got this message which called me from 512-855-6895 but the voicemail I received was exactly the same one "Scammer Hunter" received. Exactly the same. Do not return the call and do not accept anything. It is a scam.

Pretty much same as everyone else called from 304 381 7347 number left number 844 599 5743 on voicemail you have been warned

I just received the same exact voicemail.

Would not supply name of company that hired them. Only stated they are send legal papers. And if I didn't respond they threaten to put lien on my property.

called my daughter to get to me and when I called them back, they tried convincing me to pay them 4k over the phone or it will be 8k later. Asked if I had a friend or anyone with a credit card to pay them.

Be careful what you say or you could end up "resetting the clock" on debts that are past the statute of limitations.  This does not mean you do not owe the debt it just means the debt collection agency cannot take you to court over it.  Zombie debt collectors often use a "pay us now or double later" tactic.  Read here:

That applies to real debts being collected on by real debt collectors.  Also, in most States statements/agreements that could 'restart the clock' usually have to be in writing.
Based on the conversations/voicemails related by the posters here,  this is a scam and nothing is real.

A better phrasing would be:

Let your daughter know that this is a scam and to ignore any further calls they may make to her.
You should also ignore any calls they may make to you (since you called a 844 toll-free number they have your phone number) and make the call you already made to them, the last one you make to them.

On 5/9/25 Friday. Left a voice message. "This is a medical matter" so they say. Whatever!! He sounded like a dang Indian.

I also received that same number. Sounds like an India person. Lol. Left a voice message. Just push 2 to remove my number

Got a phone call from a separate number asking me to contact a legal office at this number 844-599-5743 talking about a summons to place a lien on my accounts and I’ll be summoned for court . Scam!
