Why are you calling my phone number saying u want to talk to my exhusband? And why do you say they BETTER call you EMEADIATLY, and your office has his personal information ssc, license info?

Left a vm, on my CHILDS phone.  Saying messge was for Ronald Reagan, and local jurisdiction was waiting to hear from him, and they had ss info

It's a scammer for sure - asked for a caller on my number (which was not that person's number) and asked for them by a nickname, not even a legal name then said they had "documentation associated with your social security number and driver's license..." and to call them immediately.

This number keep calling my job. Ugh

ID themselves as "Excelsior Mediations".  Lady wouldn't give me any more information.   Just another debt collection scam.  No such group that I can find.  Simply ignore and block the calls.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.  Tell 'em  no scammy debt collector is going to push you around.

You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking).   the only thing they understand.

Excelsior Mediation is a scumbag collection agency committing illegal attempts at
collection. If this # calls you-get their mailing address and go to the Attorney General
of the State they are calling from. File a complaint against them using the Attorney general's online form. Each collector that called you is personally liable for any infraction. There are many lawyers willing to take your case against them-on contingency. You won't pay a thing for their service. the FDCPA Public Law 109 subsection 808 protects you from this harassment.

They called my cell phone number, and a friends number too, looking for me.  I NEVER give other people's phone numbers out so I am not sure how "they" got my friends home number.  This is really upsetting!  I wish these people would just stop harassing me and others! Same message left on my cell phone about my SS# and DL #'s. Name of the company not given in message.
