I have been getting a call from this number all week. 3 times already today. The call comes from 864-532-4774 but the callback number is 844-601-0249. Automated call about an urgent matter in their office and they are ready to go through the courts in my city if I don’t respond.

Keeps calling me to return call, no names but gives a reference id.

Same experience. 3 days calls every hour.  No Letter, no official coming to my door and NO Subpoena.just a recorded call every hour an urgent matter before the magistrate judge within the laws of my state.
Who talks like that except a scammer.

Call comes in thru 959-270-2730 but requests callback to 844-601-0249 references a subpoena if I don't call back and they call multiple times a day!

Same experience as other commenters. The call comes in through a 904 area code but call back number is 844-601-0249. Not very specific, provides a reference id, and threatens legal action if call not returned. Sounds like a scam to me..smh

Same scenario as the others, calls left on my answering machine. No name,, threatening legal action referencing a number.3 calls within an hour. Everyday. Definitely a scam. Doesn't this violate the harassments code of some sort?

Caller said that I took out payday lone. In 2014. I did not . Said they going to take me to court . And said I was being recorded for court.

Voice mail received from 262--217-7991.  No reference who they are or who they are representing.  Just a message with reference number and to call 844-601-0249.  100% sure this is a scam and will not call the number.

Just like the other people on here: I got a call from 760-253-1527. I didn't answer it so they left a vm telling me to call 844-601-0249 or they will take legal matters following the guidelines in my state. Definite scammer. I blocked the number.

Same incident as everyone else. Received multiple calls in a day from two different numbers. First number to call was +1 (341) 999-5503 asking me to call 844-601-0249. The second number that called me was +1 (760) 253-1527 and it asked me call the same number 844-601-0249. I was curious so I called the 844 number back. I reached someone who did not give me his name nor the company he worked for. He wanted me to verify my information. I told him I’m not comfortable doing that over the phone. He then starts giving me my birthdate and the last 4 of MY social. I still didn’t fall for the bait. I again asked him where is he calling from, and he asked me if my birthday was XX/XX/XXXX? I stated no. He then said, “this call isn’t for you then” and he hung up the phone. I knew this was a scam because I don’t have any accounts in collections. Be careful people, they are trying hard..smh
