I returned the call today and spoke with a lady that is trying to recoup $5,000 from a TV that was rented back in 2011. It was through Aaron's. I'm not sure who the lady was because I couldn't understand what she said. This occurred back in Florida in 2011 when my boyfriend at the time went crazy and started breaking everything in the house, so I took my daughter and drove straight thru to Maryland. I had called Aaron's the day I left and said to come and pick up their flat screen TV and Wii system with a stand. The guy Shrugged it off like it was nothing. I told them they needed to pick it up before he throws it in the Banana River. Apparently two days later, it had been stolen. Now, I understand I signed on the dotted line, but I also tried to get them to come and pick it up because I knew something was going to happen. The lady on the phone today said the balance was $5,000 now because it had been so long, and she needed $2,000 today or the minimum of $200 a month. I verified with her the date that I signed this contract with Aaron's and it was October 19, 2011.
