called my neighbors house looking for me. anyone know who they are?

Called a family member stating they HAD to talk to me by the end of the day and gave a case number...never been in trouble with the courts...i assume it has to be some sort of debt collection agency

Called my sister, lady's name was something miller.  Told her it was about a civil case. I've never been in trouble with courts. I called back and the guy seemed to have no idea who miss miller was and asked me for the case number. I gave it and he ( mr Lawson ). Told me us bank was gonna take me to court of I didn't settle my 1,500 negative balance from 2 yrs ago..it seems like a collection agency acting as a law firm. Not really sure. I'll just take my chance and see them in court if it's legit.

This crazy place called my parents house, looking for my wife. Asking for my wife by her "maiden" name, which she hasnt used in well over 10 years. Gave a Issuer contact # and a reference #.  Its a joke, obviously. People trying to act as a law office, which is illegal, trying to get your money. Wont get a penny out of me, they'll have to take us to court. Good luck other folks. Idiots is what I say.

Its a Debt Collection agency: Lincoln Group is what was said their name was. They have SS #'s. and they use google/yellow pages to find out possible contact #'s for people. They get really crazy when its close to the 7 year mark and its gonna fall off the wagon. They do not have any legal right to claim to be a lawyer, and if they wanted to actually serve you, you wouldnt be notified until you were being served. Block the #.

I got a call from this number to my mother in law!! Asking for me! Crazy huh!! I called with a case number kept me on hold forever. Scam probably. If it was real, they would have had my number. dont you think??
