This # called me and left a message saying they have a lawsuit n if I don't call back today it will go to court, but they used my old last name, which was changed 10+ yrs ago ....

They continue to call anybody related to me now or in past. Scare them into verifying my number. Tell them I must call in 3 hours otherwise lawsuit. Happens for past 2 years. They spoofed number on caller I'd to show a courthouse number but was a fax!!!! This time I call back number given and tell to give me the creditor. Told them I owe nothing. Clean credit. He then start yelling and cussing saying "look buddy I know where you work and we are set to garnish". I said really? I don't work. I'm retired. Told him to send in mail. I never get anything in mail.  Hung up.  This is a new number as others are full of complaints. They have someone call you from a fake number and tell you to call another number. A real debt will ALWAYS send info in mail

Total scam dont even bother credit conpanies cant garnish your checks only the irs can and you wouldnt go to jail for somwthing in small claims court

The caller left a message on my phone and identified herself as Jasmine.  She said that there is a pending investigation and I should call back as soon as possible.  She left a case number of 50-00281 for a formal action against me.  When I called back another person said that the company name is Capital Group.  Now if this is not fraud then I don't know what would be.  How can one person said the name of the company is Northern Capital Group and another gave a wrong name.

Same here they called and said I had a complaint filed against me and gave a case number.  I called it back and answering machine identified them as Capital Group.  No clue who they are and why they are calling.  They are scammers.
