Scammer never says anything in a call-back. Online call-blocking services already have this number as a bogus caller, which they automatically block.

I'm certain this is a con group soliciting funds for some "police association(s)".  Steven was the recorded caller... I recognized his voice the moment I answered since I've received well over two dozen calls from him.  It's not a live call as they use an advanced recording technique during their pitch that when you interrupt with a question like "what percentage of my donation goes to an actual police officer/families in need" the voice "Steven" tries to answer, but after you ask or interrupt too much during the pitch they hang up. The CID only gives "800Service" which 9 our of 10 times is a tip off it's a scammer.  The Tampa Bay Times did an investigative piece yesterday (1/29/20) on two shady groups out of Sarasota that have a sweep of offices on the top floor.  A former police chief friend says they're crooks. Calls every weekday and hangs up.  Called ID says 800 Service.  So far they have called from a new number each time with same caller ID.  This is a list of numbers called from.  844-653-7034, 844-652-3067, 844-285-6839, 888-693-0717, 844-878-8942, 877-338-8954, all show in caller ID as 800 Service
