We received a fake email from a fake Amazon email address. Allegedly we ordered a large TV and soundbar for $4K. In the email this number [844-690-0916] was listed to call if we wanted to cancel. This is an obvious attempt to get our credit card number and other personal info. This will be reported to FBI and FCC!

Got the same fake email from a fake Amazon email account. Same kind of order for same exact TV & sound bar. In email says to call ( 1-844-690-0916) to cancel. Says it was sold by John Densmore. Shipping address was in Bear, Delaware. Have called and reported to local & state police, along with the FBI and FCC Southern District. Called the number and a guy with a foreign accent answered then immediately hung up.

PS...I just received the SAME email ordering the Sony 75 inch TV and a sound bar totaling $4186.99...
I checked my Amazon account for orders. I just had a Fraud charge last week on my bank account and sure didn't need this.

THIS IS A SCAM,,,,I looked up the number as well.

WIll report further.

We received a fake email from a fake Amazon email address. Allegedly we ordered a large TV and soundbar for $4K with number 844-690-0916 to call if we wanted to cancel. This is a SCAM to get our credit card number and other personal info. !!!

Just got the same thing.  Forwarding to whomever I can.

I've received  same email,  different variation, same contact #.1-844-690-0916.
I have had it with this. This is the 4th email in one month.  Amazon should step up and do something to help to trap these criminals.i refuse to buy anything from Amazon  OR Ebay  as far as that matters.
Nothing changes,  it only gets worse.

Recd the same email and my amazon account and AE account were hacked. Luckily I was able to
stop it !  Man was very foreign speaking , possible from India, and also wanted a CVS gift card!
These fraudsters are not stupid. I always wonder why they don’t get honest jobs! Just thankful I caught it.

Received the same amazon email this morning saying I bought a 75"TV deliverable to Delaware Maryland. Verified with Amazon there was no my activity on my account. Interesting these social media giants can censor your posts when they don't like what you said but can't stop a scammer when they know the phone number.

I got the exact same email ! Amazon TV & Soundbar ! I reported it to Amazon & phishing-report@us-cert.gov .
I tracked the destination.  2  g-mail accounts !
