Calls 3 times a day and calling family members leaving messages about a so called formal complaint but I have clean credit and never receive anything in mail. Seems like scam

This is a scam.  Got the same message yesterday from a number in India.  I had this call before they are trying to get your $ or personal bank info to debit your account for a debt you may or may not owe.  They never send anything by mail, just call to scare people into paying.  I almost gave these idiots over $1000.

I get the same call as about its automated and they are looking for my wife.  The calls come from two different numbers 844-695-1380 and 855-201-2036.  I called it back and they refuse to give you company name, address for any info.

I got the call today the company is western but she wouldnt tell me anything else and when i told her this was a scame she went off on me telling me k dont have any money and alot of stupid crap. Made me laugh

Yea I had the same formal complaint call BS. I always hang up at that point, but I'm sure its a scam.

This number continues to call me several times each day at work. Supposedly they are going to arrest me for insufficient funds on a loan... unless I pay them several hundred dollars, they are having me Subpoenaed at work.

I just received a call 20 minutes ago from 844 695 1380. The lady stated she was from Western, and stated  that I took out a loan recently and did not pay it back. Hahaha, I told her IMPOSSIBLE, I havent worked in 10 years! I then asked her her name and company address, she quickly diffused the situation and hung up!

This number is calling over and over.  The last call from them. (today),they  threatened going to the Circuit Court.

Most likely debt scammers.  Ignore and block the calls.

Keep getting calls about a complaint of Robert a and wanting to know about the whereabouts.  Keep getting recorded call every hour and have called them that they don't have the right number and don't know any roberta. They keep telling me will get my number deleted but they never do.

I got the same thing called local PD and filed a report for possible fraud or identity theft

Just got another call from whoever this is from a recording then a computer voice saying my name. I know it is a scam since they have to resort to using a computer saying my name. Trying to scare me is not working

Wow this guy keeps calling me and trying to scare me into paying something that I don't even owe...  They have been calling me for several months now WHAT SHOULD I DO....

Well for starters do not pay them.  This is what they were required to do by law after the very first call.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

In addition to what BigA has already said, the next time they call, let them know you are aware they are running an illegal debt scamming operation, have NO intention of paying them a dime, are recording their calls and intend to have them traced, caught and prosecuted for attempted extortion and wire fraud.

got a phone call from 844-695-1382 with people who claim to be from a company called WESTERN who deal with mediation issues???? NO clue what this "company" is all about. but they said they will not remove my phone number from their file and that they will let whoever know that I want to proceed with the court and hung up on me.

Same thing happened to me. It's a scam. Don't worry about it.
