Called number after it was posted on my computer. It said my computer had been infected with a virus and it was Microsoft services. If I called them they would help. Number was no longer in service.

Don't bother calling. You probably got a message on your internet browser stating something is wrong with your computer telling you to call "Microsoft Services"; restart your computer, run a malware program. It's a fake number to people who barely speak english. They'll ask you for personal information on your computer that'll let them access your computer remotely and they'll ask for a fee (it's really a ransom) to unlock it. This is unnecessary, the note on your computer is nothing but that: an annoying note. restart it, get rid of the virus. It can't do anything else. Don't give these guys any money. Happened to my grandma, then I got the same message and gave them a "friendly" message on the phone :)
