This is a scam trying to get money from you, the original call I received came from 727 216 3155 and there are notes about it on that number's page here.

they called and left a voicemail for my husband saying he was "served"

I just got a call on my cell phone well on my caller ID it says 202-269-5335,they left a message on my voicemail saying that they were calling for my mother saying( stating my mothers name)  that she has been served in the place where she lives and left this number for her to call 844-704-1800.

I got the same call from a different number but telling me to call that saw 844-704-1800 and saying I would be served at my place of employment or my home and j don't owe anyone anything

I got the same message left at my place of employment my cell phone.   My sister, son and ex husband all go the same call.   I have been getting these calls for a couple of months and I have filed and talked to state police in 2 states, since I live in one and work in another.  Local Sheriffs office have both been warned also and I have filed a harassment case in both states with both state attorneys offices.   This is a SCAM...they want your money and they think if they can call other people that you know is what is annoying.

Years ago we had a friend who did collections for an attorney .He told us about a database they used to find you.Out of curiosity ,we asked him to run us.The amount of information he pulled up was STAGGERING! It listed all the places we lived,All the people who lived near us,all our relatives,all their information,and so on,and so on....  I've had calls looking for an estranged relative from a debt collector I hadn't seen for years and considering our names are different,I'm assuming they use a similar database hoping someone will give them information on their target.As this was many years ago,I can only guess in this day and age of the internet,there is even more personal details out there.
Be careful of these creeps!

Received a call leaving a message stating all the same about case number, being informed, owe a debt, call this number 844-704-1800 for confirm of address and place of employment.  I don't owe anyone anything.  Must be a Scam.  To top it all off, they are calling under my 1st married name which has been changed for 10 years.  And calling my ex's number which has been over 25 years.  Must definitely be a scam.  Looks like they called from a local cell number that does not come up on google.  If they call again I will block the call. Thanks everyone for the info. I will not call back.

This number keeps calling people in my family including my mom who has nothing to do with my dad and hasn't been involved with him for YEARS  and that's who they are asking for. Saying they have a case against him. There's already enough against my dad already nobody needs this scam calling people making them think he's in the middle of some huge lawsuit. Also when I called the number back it said their office hours are in a pacific time zone and my dad has never lived anywhere other than the east coast. Scam scam scam!! They said to have him call 844-704-1800
