This is a (new?) telemarketing scam caller. Block or simply do not answer this call.

Calls from this number come numerous times but do not ever leave a voice message. Caller ID simply lists the phone number but no name.  844 is a new toll free prefix so there is no way to tell where the call originates.

This # keeps calling my house they will not give any information unless you give your information first.

Got a call from this number so I called back (my number is blocked or so I thought). This# belongs to EOSCCA aka EOCCA (please note the "s" is missing ). They are a debt collection agency. The person I spoke to did not ask me for my phone number as reference, but told me who he was looking for. The only way he could do that is if when I called, they could unblock my phone number (similar to when a person with an account with HSN or QVC they automatically know who you are without you telling them). These people must have the same technology. Since I'm not the person he named, he said he'd "remove" my number. I'm blocking them now.

Calls 2-3 times a week claiming I owe a debt I don't owe!  Very annoying

Caller ID shows "UNKNOWN NAME". I don't answer unknown numbers. This number has called me several times but never leaves a message. From reading other posts here, they purport to be a debt collector. If they were legitimate, the caller ID would show the company name and they would leave a message. This is phishing.  If they are this EOSCCA, all the more reason to block them. I have received calls from that company before from several different phone numbers.  Sometimes in the past they have left a message from other numbers. Since I do not owe any debts, this is clearly a shakedown attempt trying to convince people with debt to pay money to the fraudulent company. They are criminals and scam artists trying to steal money from gullible, frightened people whom they can intimidate.

Do not answer this number. If you have call blocking, block it.

Scumbag, fraud/scam criminals. Do not answer or block this number. This a new harassment phishing call. It has called me multiple times recently. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers and they never leave a message. If this is the EOSCCA collection scumbags, they are liars and thieves. I don't owe any debts to anyone but they have called me in the past the past from disguised numbers and I unwisely answered the phone. They threatened me with levies and even possible arrest, which, if I did owe a debt is illegal but since I don't their threats and harassment are even more unlawful. I refused to give my name or any information to validate who they called yet they still made threats and when I hung up on them, they called back immediately. They are the lowest form of life on the planet.

I answered and just heard a robot say "Hello" and then the call ended.
