This number called and left no message.  According to a different site I found on google, this is a robocaller and to not pick up phone. I've blocked the number.

Is this number a Spam?

So someone called you up, said one word "personal" and then hung up?  How is anyone supposed to figure out what type of call this is from that?  None of the other posters have posted any useful information only.

Called and said some crap about being from Capital something looking for an Angela. Sounds like crap.

They called me, I answered, no one there, I hung up. Then I called them back. Rang once, then went to "hold" music. Someone with a heavy Hindu accent picked up asking how they could help me. I told them "I don't know-YOU called ME!" The lady then said they were looking for an "Alicia Ace", and I said, "Nope-wrong number!" I also told them that when I answered their call the last time, it was silent and hung up. The lady admitted that it's a computer program calling the phone numbers. She also admitted to me that they call themselves "Glass Mountain Capital" and that it's for "Personal business with Alicia Ace".....Surrrrrrreeee you are.....
BOTTOM LINE: It's SPAM. Block/Delete!

Called me, verified my name, then when he continued to tell me my current home address, I stopped there. He wanted to verify my identity w/o answering any questions I had regarding the nature of call. Said it was glass mountain capital.

Called wanted me to verify my information but would not tell me why. Kept saying a personal business matter.  Said he would tell me more when I verified my information.  I hung up and blocked the call.

Picked  up the call. Requesting information, I never heard of the company I hung up. They said we will send something in the mail. I will teach it!

Received a call. Wanted Infornation, told them I do not give information over the phone and who are you

The said they were calling from Glass Mountain Company.  I said never heard of you.  I will report you.

They said we will send you something in the mail.

If anyone gets anythi g from any of these so called companies through the mail, take it to your Post Office and the will I vestifste . It is a Federal Crime

this number is glass mountain capital. They are a collection agency.

They wanted to know if I am Pepper , confirm address  , I asked what this debt was in  reference to he kept up asking . Never answered what collection this was.   Two days in a row this is harassment.  Could never catch the name.

Not a scam, but annoying. A little research revealed that this is Glass Mt. Capital, a legit but aggressive collections agency that is actually registered with the BBB. That said, they have been the subject of quite a few complaints for harassment. They called me this morning--no i.d.--seeking my ex-husband, who hasn't lived here for almost 20 years! So...they aren't very good investigators, apparently.
