Said they were calling from Sedgwick Insurance Co., representing Avis Car Rental, regarding a bogus claim on a car I rented back in August 2019. Car was returned in perfect condition & I was refunded my entire deposit, plus the money I had paid for renting the car. Avis had been charging my credit card from the day the car was returned to them, up until about March 5th, 2020.

Also got a call from "Sedgewick" claiming damages on an Avis rental car from a year ago.  Can was turned in without damage.

Said they are calling from budget rentals said we owe for damages on a moving truck. That was last year and this year. Truck and trailer returned with no damages. Called budget they said to ignore those calls.

Called at almost 3 AM.  I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message.

Tyson called and stated she wanted to talk about an incident at target guest services. Something about a product being returned. That was a voicemail that was left. Pretty sure it was definitely a scam

Regarding a target purchase.... I haven’t shopped at target over 4 months! SCAM

Probably a new scam.  If you rented from Avis, wouldn't Avis call you right away if there was a problem?

Called twice, left voicemail after second call. Sedgwick calling about a "claim" I submitted that got transferred to them. Bogus. I never submitted a claim for anything.

Left message asking for me by name regarding my “claim.” Definitely scam.

Caller refused to give their name or who they were attempting to reach, or what number they had attempted to dial. Caller said they had just missed a call from my number and were returning the call. No call had been made from my phone for the past 16 hours, so no way what they said actually happened.
