Received a text from this number today (12/17) claiming to be SpeedX.  "Hello from SpeedX! Your order will be delivered soon.  The estimated delivery is on 12/17/2024. Visit <link> to verify you delivery address and see more details."  My order was expected to be delivered today, but they need me to verify the delivery address?  LOL nice try scammers.  I can see how people might fall for these especially this time of year.  Stay safe and don't click those suspicious links.

Received text trying to confirm delivery.

It’s the delivery company used by SHEIN. If you compare tracking numbers they match. I didn’t click on the link regardless, but got a text from SHEIN right after this saying the same thing about my delivery expected date.

Same: got a text that a delivery is coming (with link to verify details), then snother that something was delivered. I checked the tracking number embedded in the link and it showed sent from Miami yo somewhere in..Miami (I live in NY). Did not click on any links and reported to Speedx, waiting for an answer

Just received same text as everyone else (to my work cell #) Speedx.io and was brave enough to click the link. Shows an address in San Jose CA, and was asking me for my address update. Why do they need that if it will be delivered today? I don't have any orders I'm waiting for so definitely a scam.

Doing some research on this company tends to indicate that the texts people are reporting here are not due to some nefarious phishing scam, but rather are due to this company being incompetent (although they may be corrupt in other ways).

The SpeedX.io domain mentioned in a post above was registered in early 2018, so the company has been in business for at least 7 years.

Reports on the net indicate that they are used a lot by Chinese based companies like Shein, Temu and Halara for their deliveries.

There are a large number of complaints by people indicating that they receive notices that parcel is out for delivery only to be followed by a could not deliver or incorrect address information notice and notice the parcel was going back to the distribution centre (none of which, according to their website, can be accessed by customers wanting to get their parcel).  There are also numerous reports of wrong parcels being delivered as well as reports of thievery by the delivery people (who have been recorded on security cameras delivering the parcel, taking a "proof of delivery" photo and then walking off with the parcel.)  Another big complaint is a lack of customer service, with many reports of only being able to reach a chat-bot.  Their website does not list a phone number or email address.  Their "How can I contact SpeedX?" states:

After reading the reviews and seeing the website of this company, I have to agree with the statements made by many people reviewing this company – I would never do business with any company that I knew used SpeedX to deliver their products.

I just received a text from this number saying a package I ordered had been delivered. I have only ordered 1 item in the last 3-4 months, and every correspondence I've received has said delivery is expected by 4/28/25. Also, received an email this morning saying the item I ordered was shipped today, 4/21/25. Did not click on text link as I'm 99.9% it's a scam.

Just received a text with a link saying SpeedX had just delivered a package. So I called home & hubs said that a small package was delivered & seemed like a package from China. (you know the type of package) I honestly do not know what it could be. I will check the package tonight. It seems to be somewhat legit, but I'm still not clicking any strange link.

It's Shein.  Got an email from them, too.  Was a little worried because it said delivered and nothing was at my door.  When I saw Shein on here, texted my granddaughter and she got it...  This is not a scammer, just who they use for delivery.

I just got a message from them and my family's so confused it said our package was delivered from speedx but we never ordered from there or from shein we havent ordered from shein in a few years the weird thing is my mom heard a knock earlier at the door but nothings there when we look now and I clicked the link because I was suspicious but now im worried that my information is stolen or something what should I do?

SpeedX is a delivery service, you do not order from them.
If you did not order anything recently from Shein (or anyone else) then there would be no package to deliver.

Your mom hearing a knock and your getting that text may be totally unrelated.  It could be that a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses may have been canvasing your block,  Or it is possible the delivery person realized they had the wrong address (you did not order anything after all) and removed the package.

Or, whoever ordered the package they delivered entered the wrong phone number and it ended up being yours by mistake.

Nothing.  You did not order anything and apparently nobody told you they were shipping something to you (or you would have mentioned that), so, other than you fretting about it, no harm has been done.  Somewhere there is a person who received a package of something they ordered, but they did not receive a notice that the package is waiting for them.

On another topic, one thing you need to do is to learn about punctuation marks (especially periods) and proper capitalization of sentences.  What you posted is a single rambling run-on question.

I got the same text that everyone else got. I thought it was a Scam, so I ignored and deleted the text. Mine turned out to be legit. I bought a coffee mug on Walmart's website. SpeedX just delivered my mug. The order was placed 10 days ago and I was not supposed to get it delivered until next week. I am happy with the mug and this was the first time I ever heard of SpeedX.

Received a text telling me my package was delivered from Speedx to 1337 location and requested I click on a link to get details. I’ve had no dealings with Speedx, am not looking for a package and don’t know a 1337 location.
