called trying to say there is a court case against me and they needed to serve me. Gave me a case number and everything. I looked it up and it's non-existent. Not to mention I don't owe anyone anything and of course they were foreign and spoke so fast you could bare understand them.

This #called and left several messages.  Spoke fast! I could barely understand! Gave case # and said it was about property attached to my phone #.. impossible!!! Because I do not own any property!!! These people are SCUM who wants to STEAL from hard working AMERICANS!!!!

They left a message with my step mother’s name who isn’t even in the country, and said a case number a bout a property to this phone number, and they sounded middle eastern.  And claimed his name was John Dixon…
    I can’t help but imagine there are still people who will fall for this scam.  It saddens me to think the feeling when you realize you just gave your money to some [***].

They called trying to collect for an old Target credit card, which I know was paid off.  They say they are Harrington & Associates, but they sent me an email with the "settlement letter" and the letterhead says Thompson Group.  I knew it was a scam I was just trying to get information.  They sent the document from docsfilingservice.com, not a real website.  Looked up the address on the letterhead and another business is at the address on the Campus of Warner Center.

Claims to be a law firm and I have a civil suit against me for a Target credit card, it's a scam.  This is the third "law firm" that has called me about this matter.  Total scam
