Robo recording federal court asking for my lawyer to proceed with action what a [***].

called.said they were proceeding with tax evasion charges ! scared the daylights out of me !

Received a call from these scammers informing me action has been filed against 'my name' for tax evasion and fraud.  Leaves this number to return the call by either me or my lawyer.  Ridiculous.  These types of calls are why I NEVER answer calls I can't identify.  I am on the do not call list, so have formally complained about it.

Same call received. I did a call back, wanting to have some fun with the scammers, but the number was disconnected.The CRTC  ( do not call list ) is a frigging joke. I have never heard of them taking action against any marketers. Especially the infamous 'Duct Cleaners', or the Marriott Hotel
I removed my phone number OFF the DO NOT CALL LIST and now I have less frequent unwanted calls. Yes, that's true.
For fun, I make appointments for duct cleaning and they drive all the way from Scarborough. Let them sit in the driveway for 20 minutes and then tell them they're not wanted. It really pisses them off. And as they are about to drive away I tell them to stop calling. When the Duct Cleaners are taking my information, they suddenly ask, " I see you are on the Do Not Call List" "You don't mind that call you" They say that EVERY time. So, they use the list to make the calls.
