Scam - Electricity is going to be cut off in two hours if you don't pay $743.55 in cash right away by going to Rite-Aid and buying a "green card".

Man with thick accent called to say he was from Puget Sound Electricity and we had to pay immediately or they would shut off our power. My employee took the call. I was not there so when I returned I told her it had to be a scam because I don’t even have Puget Sound Electticity at my shop. I called him back and after several prompts I found him. When I asked why he would call when I don’t even have that service his reply was...” well then just hang up” and he hung up!!! Why can’t this annoying scam be stopped if I was able to call him back???

Scam - Consumer's Power in Michigan. A guy calls using a real  Consumer's Power 800 number saying a technician is on there way to turn off your power if you don't call 844-776-8538 to make a payment ASAP.
