Left a robo message with a case number but no identifier of who it was. Apparently collections. I am up to date with everything so obviously not even for the right person.

Caller id unknown name !!!!! Just another scam didn't answer no message

Another scam caller! I really wish these ppl would get real honest jobs! Don't give these scammers any money or info!!!! If someone has a case against you like these ppl claim you would receive something in the mail not from a sketchy phone call!! Don't let them scare you into giving them your info & or money! These ppl will tell you anything to scare you & get your money!!

they have left messages claiming to be working for the sheriffs department and threatening to put out a bench warrent and come to my job

Just left a mesaage about some case they want to go over with me,  however the number came up as 607-210-0133 but im suppose to call this number 844-786-7790!!

Sounds like a scam to me!!  I just blocked them.

Called them back and its cash net loan that i already paid off but they said I didnt and i will be going to court next week,  so they say.   Said its from like 2010

A phone call, email or text message from a supposed debt collector is not legally sufficient evidence of debt.

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) includes statements such as this:

Every collector must send you a written “validation notice” telling you how much money you owe within five days after they first contact you. This notice also must include the name of the creditor to whom you owe the money, and how to proceed if you don’t think you owe the money.   ["Written" means snailmailed - US Mail ... not emailed or texted]

Therefore, if that caller wants you to pay immediately, before you get the written validation notice via snailmail, or if the caller wants payment via Green Dot, MoneyGram, Western Union, prepaid gift card or other untraceable means, then the call is definitely not legitimate.

Just got 3 calls from this number two said er and one said endpoint. Haven't gotten a letter or anything from any of these people

this number called me for someone else and when I called them back a man named Bobbie answered the phone and said that they called for some man. He asked me who this was and I stated that I was not going to give him any information as I have no idea who they were or why they were calling me. He got smart with me so I told him that I would say it 3 times not to call this number and I did ("Do not call this number" x 3).  I let him know that I would be contacting the FCC and reporting them. He said I am hanging up the phone I can't hear you.

They call using other numbers such as 713-936-9909 and leave the 844 number in the voicemail. Called back no one answered but the you can leave them a message. They can try and tell me all they want that they have a file attached to my name and SSN..... Scum is what they are!

i got a call from these people.  They called from a totally different area code. I just called up "Ashley" and i asked her to remove my number from their list. She goes "I am sorry, I cant do that" I told her that she called me from a totally different zip code! When i caught her in this. She said that she will remove my number and hung up.I YELLED AT HER TO STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE

Reports on Hiya app identify this as debt-collection scammer, "ERS".
The call-back number given is 844-786-7790. Googling this call-back number turns up a hit for:

Ethically Recovering Receivables
(IMHO, if you have to tell people you're ethical, it's likely a lie.)

Their robo-message started during my OGM, so is cut off at the front:
"…address and social security number. Please press "1" now, to be connected to an associate, or contact us back at 1-844-786-7790. Thank you."

So, why the fake caller ID name, instead of an honest company name?
Because they're SCAMMERS, that's why.

Same exact thing here ! Really tired of all these scammers calling. They were trying to tell me they had a case agsinst me and a lien on my s. s. number( which is impossible) . Calling the police. They keep a list of these numbers.

They need to stop calling no idea what company they are collecting from but they are calling my friends to ot needs to stop
