- Neutron| 4 repliesThis is a fake computer tech support scam (and possibly other scams). The caller pretends your computer has problems (he can't know that), pretends to fix it (now it really does have problems), takes your money for real (and may steal credentials from your computer), and may set you up with uncancellable recurring payments.
Quit any website showing a fake computer error message (where I saw this phone number). Do not call, do not answer, do not permit access to your computer, do not provide any personal or financial information. Just. Don't.- Caller: (anonymous thieves)

If your statement is true, tell us
* The legal (registered) name of the company
* Its physical address (no box numbers)
* Its website
And, why did you call this computer company a "he", when no name was mentioned?
Oh .. last question for you ...
How much do you get paid to shill for this phone number? - MonroeIf you get this warning just press: alt + ctrl +delete............and next press Start Task Manager
then from the list of webpages that show up. Just delete the bogus warning page. - AndyWhen pulling up a certain website, they have found a way to overlay that site with a blue screen warning though I can hear the audio of the site i want to visit. The message is chrome has crashed & i must call 844*798*3802. The only way out is to re-start. will try the control alt delete method above later.

- steveDon't fall for these low life scam artists... they work harder to scam you out of money than to work for a real job.... they have a line of bull.... If they sound like they are in a back room some place you know its not a business....
- Giggles replies to NeutronI called the number back because it keeps calling me over and over. So I was going to give then a piece of my mind. Only thing that it says is you currently called a number not set up to accept calls. So I hung up. Not the same number as the computer scam caller that had been calling me before. My other call was about fixing a virus for my windows. An e-mail automatically opened without clicking on it when I signed into my mail. I fell for it and called them. Not sure if they were. Legit scammers or hackers because I allowed them into my computer. My internet provider went in after when I had gotten scared I had gotten scammed. They looked at everything, said I was fine. Where my ip changes it prevents that from happening if they try. But thanks guys on warning and helping people. They may be one in the same scammer, just using different number
