Didn't answer as i didn't recognize number, just now

this call is about security software we installed on your computer last year..........................and I hung up.

I didn't answer,  never do.
Rob's comment about security software nailed it.
It's from Eset Nod32.  The area code for them is 844.  My anti-virus is about to run out in 3 fays.  They sent me an e-mail to say there were 15 days left and now they call me.

I'm still not going to answer it thiough!!!

I got a message telling me to call them about a security software that was installed last year. They said they see a red flag and that there's some security breach. I didn't call them back. I don't know if I should.

This call is about Security Software installed on your computer last year. We received a red flag error and stating there is a security breach on it. Call 1-844-809-0997.

Recorded voice said that some "red flag had come up on some software they had installed on my computer, last year".
I knew it was a lie, as I hadn't any software installed.

Same message - red flag etc.  Why can't the government block access to callers who are scammers?
