A foreigner called saying he was calling from Windows and my computer was showing it had slowed down and was infected by a virus. I asked him what IPaddress he had for my computer and he said he didn't have that info. I told he had to have it if he knew it was my computer. He hung up the phone.

Yep same as above. I hung up. I mean, when is the last time MS called to help?!

10/24/16 i received a call from this # today. male with heavy east indian accent from the "technology dept of windows". said he saw indications of a virus on my computer(an apple) and i should get on my computer and he would help me fix it. really??!!!
is there a govt. # we can call to report this?

Just got same call and message...knew it was scam 2 days before Christmas...background audio gave it away

Have received a few calls from this number. First claiming to be Windows support. After a few attempts and some chuckles on my part I finally admitted to them that I am a MAC user and asked them to try their scam on someone else. Then a few weeks later they started periodic calls claiming to be from MAC support. Every time I tell them to top calling, I'm not falling for their scam but they try every couple of weeks.
