Left enough personal information on an unidentified voice mail that can result in identity theft. Fully intend on filing suit against the owner of this phone as a result of compromising my personal identity.

Received a call from “Cindy James” and was told someone stole my daughters social security number...she yelled and threatened me and then hung up on me...when I called back and asked for a supervisor I got “Bethany”...when I questioned what office they were calling from and what government agency they were representing she told me how “stupid” I was and told me to shut up and “stop babbling” after she used every curse word in the book

Left a voicemail saying they have a subpoena and I had to pay $300 to lift the court order because ace cash reports me doing bank fraud? I called ace cash they said its a scam. When you don't repay loan they close your account and sell it to collections. It states in the paperwork when you get a loan. They dont take you to court. These callers only have the last four of your social and name. And they want cash on spot. No court process acts in this way.

Bethaney called from this company and said that a letter was sent to my address and was returned to Sender which is not true since I don't return to Sender letter's that are valid only junk mail.  Also I monitor what letter vs. phone calls I get and this company never sent me a letter with a case no. which is really suppose to come from your City/County as certificated mail if a case is being sent plus you can inquire online under your City/County to see if a valid case is in place just by reviewing your full name and any case will show up.  I will not call a phone number that I do not have a several letter's matching a call to validate it's real

    Ugly Bethany replies to Anonymous
Our business continues to receive collection calls from "Bethany."  I share with her that we aren't able to provide information about who is here and who isn't here without a signed authorization of release form, she gets rude and irritated.  She talks over the top of you as if she believes what she has to say is more important than what you are saying.  She uses demeaning terminology calling people "honey." Then she threatens to call our corporate office and claim we are being rude and unprofessional to her bc she didn't get what she wants.  It's unfortunate that collectors feel the need to be inappropriate.  Don't you know that you get farther with honey then with vinegar?  At the end of the day, the answer is still the same....no signed authorization form, no information.

As stated above, Bethany calls repeatedly and in harassing fashion.  Yesterday she called us 15 times in less than 30 minutes stating 2 can play this game after I hung up due to behavior that was stated in the post. She was rude, unprofessional, yelling, threatening, and chose to continue to call despite our ending the conversation with the same answer she didn't like multiple times.  Harassment is against the law and she does not have the proper documentation to receive the needed information to complete her phone call.

They called and left a vm saying they had a file with my name and social security number and I had 24 hours to respond or they were going to file paperwork.  That they have tried to contact me. I've never heard of this company in my life. It's got to be a scammer.

IF they really had a "file" on you, you would not have a warning call.  Process servers do not call first!

I’ve been getting multiple calls from this number and I send it to voicemail. They left messages saying they had a file with my name and social security number and I had 24 hours to respond but they never specified a name.

These are usually for whoever answers the call, or hears the message. There's a good chance the caller has no idea who you are, the fact they've got a working number is enough of a reason to call. If you can stop the calls before they get to voicemail, you may be able to get rid of them that way. Blocking the number might help, also.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

So far, I've successfully sued Portfolio Recovery, working on GCC, and one other that isn't in business anymore. What is one more?  $500-$1000.  So I will gladly accept more dollars.  If this company is a legit firm, they will be getting a lawsuit letter from me soon.  If they are a scam, then it will eventually dissipate.  Good luck EAS!  You're barking up the wrong tree for sure.
