- Tracy| 2 repliesJust received 2 calls from a 1-844-809-9993. I have no idea WHO it is and hey never leave a message. So they will be blocked. I have been getting a lot of call on my cell phone as of late. I am on the do not call list.

- BobReceived call, missed it. No message left.
- Pete| 1 replyrobocall x about 100x in a month. I have been on the DNC list since 2009. If we have these programs WE HAVE TO BUY TO DETERMINE WHAT IS AND WHAT IS NOT LEGITIMATE, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET THESE FOOLS ARRESTED. Some are fraudulent and are robocalls and pretend to be the IRS or govt or lawyer or criminal case, no person, claims a criminal thing, and then ends with have a nice day (robocall). I don't bother because I know my business but I am abhorred that my number is on the DNC list and these fools manage to hook up to a fleet of phone numbers all over the country. My phone # is a Pacific zone but is an Eastern number and they start in middle of night. I see that when the downloaded program picks it up. Some they say it's a PHONY phone number.
- Caller: don't know, don't listen when I hear robocalls
- Mutton replies to PeteI hear that! Just like you, Pete, Americans (and Canadians) are frustrated by these scam calls. Unfortunately the DNC regulations won't stop criminals and that's what most of these callers are. I assume you have a call blocking app on your cell. If you have a land line get a call blocker for it too. My cell blocker is virtually limitless; cost me $1.99 and can even block strings. In fact I can write code to define the block. My land line blocker holds 5000 numbers. Here's a forum on call blockers.

Try not to let them get to you. Sounds like you already have a good program running. If we all block the calls, eventually we'll put them out of business. Hang in there. :-) - Dee replies to Tracy| 1 replyI got calls from them, too. I've learned a romantized our IT people in the computer software department that the more you block them, the more they change to a different number and your calls increase. It's est to do a silent ring for the first ring. If you can't, just let it go to voicemail. If the calls important, you'll still receive it, but you can monitor it. If it's a spoofing g call, they won'teave a message anyway.
- Dee replies to DeeI don't know how " romanticized " got into my message, but I meant to say theIT (Information Technicians )at work strongly advise not interacting with or blocking such numbers.
- AceaI got a call from this number about solar energy... I did fill out a request to receive information about the benefits of switching... I'm still concerned and tried not to answer yes to anything... I just repeated what they said to me as a confirmation...
- Caller: Wayne
- VickyKeeps calling. When I answer, there is no sound nor person on the other end.
- Jon| 1 replyA robocall - Claims that I have been pre-approved for a grant. A search shows this number to be outside the USA, is a spoofed number with a spam score of 97%.
- SoCalGalMany unknown calls the last two days every hour which is annoying to say the least. This number has called today and no message left. It makes no difference being on the no call list.
- Madison replies to JonI also received a call claiming I was being given a grant by a private donor.
- SoCalGalCall to mobile phone. Never leaves a message just annoying calls from unimportant scammers.
- EricaDU call blocker blocks this number automatically everytime.
- PoseidonReceived a call on April 19th at 10:27 am and at 8:11 pm from this number. I don't answer and they left no message
- VirginiaKeep getting a call from this number, have never answeard but they call every day..
- Don| 1 replySince I put my number on the DNC my spam calls have gotten worse, how can that B ?

There are a lot more spammers out there now, and they all ignore the DNC list.Educational Attempt Number
Fact: The National Do Not Call list is NOT a call blocker!
The DNC list is a LIST, subscribed to / purchased by legitimate telemarketers, so they know who not to call. The FCC or FTC do not give or sell the list to unqualified recipients! Click "Tip" for a tip.TipThink about this, if you have signed up for the Do Not Call Registry:- The Registry effectively stops (almost) all calls from law-abiding, legitimate telemarketers.
- If you received a call from a "telemarketer", what does that tell you?
Does ANY law stop criminals from practicing their "trade"?
Fact: Telephone numbers on the Registry don’t expire. You do NOT have to re-register periodically.
Fact: Scammers and spammers ignore the DNC list.
Many use "war dialers" to quickly dial phone numbers. After all, phone numbers are just numbers, and are no secret! (Arabic numbers were invented about 500 AD, so even stupid scammers know about them by now).
Fact: The DNC list does not apply to NON-sales calls, such as political calls, charities, surveys, debt collectors and businesses with which you have done business with during the previous 18 months.
Fact: Spam callers can be blocked by getting a real call blocker.
Google (or your favorite search engine) is your friend.
