pop up window on safari on iphone.  says potential "THREAD" warning    these scammers cannot even spell threat correctly.  Not a legit threat.  Potential phishing or some other redirect scam.

Received this phone call today. I almost fell for it, but for some reason, when she asked me for my serial number ,it sunk in!! I am so tired of scammers, isn't there anything that can be done to stop these idiots?  I couldn't get the message to stop popping up, how do I get it to stop?

I cleared my Website visited history under SETTINGS>SAFARI  No more annoying popup

Just got a "Potential Thread Detected!" pop up and to say that to call Apple Tech Support that "YOUR Apple Device (iPhone or IPad) May Have ADWARD/ SPYWARE VIRUS". Indian gentleman on the other line was professional but told me that 90% of my server was damaged. He said that my warranty was up and I need to way ~$34. I started to get a bit suspicious. Nervous to not have my phone hacked but then I don't want to fall for it and get my account info taken.

Its a scam just go to settings if it popped up on your iphone and clear all your safari history and start fresh..and it will be gone. Just as the guy up above advised. Thanks Dwayne!!

Thank you for your warning of this number been a robot scam.

Said they were from the IRS investigation team concerning my tax return, I have 24 hours to call them back, if I don't the local police will arrest me.
