    A Microsoft Scam operation, where "technician" asks you for private information to help with a virus on your computer. I am not able to block this number for some reason.

    An alert with my IP address saying my computer has a Trojan and  to call Microsoft for assistance and gave this number. I was unable to log out of anything and had to completely restart my computer.

    That isn't the end of the world. At least you did not call the scammers and allow them remote access to your PC. That is something you should NEVER do.

    WE also got this call unfortunately I called back-- and they seemed to actually clean the computer, but do they now have access to everything on the computer?  And what is the next move?>
