I was contacted by an individual who claimed to be an Officer with the County Clerks office, in a county well over 50 miles away stating that particular county was going to issue a warrant for my arrest, that a uniformed officer would be at my home and place of employment on that same day, UNLESS I contacted the office that FAXED the request to them immediately at 844-813-9723. Nothing that he mentioned gave me any indication of what is citation was for.. just asking me to call some random number that he didn't release a name for and that i was officially notified.. OF WHAT??, Im very confused.. is this legal? Who are these people? Why is an Officer of the law calling me with this threat?  I do not owe anyone money.  Will contacting the FCC and the Federal Trade really stop this harassment? When I googled the number that contacted me and left the message, several different options came up, one being a major city Government office that holds an Auxiliary Court belonging to Truancy Court????? The names do not match. I can not spell the name he left on my voicemail. This concerns me.

Not to worry!!    A real process server does NOT warn you if they are coming AND it is illegal to claim to be a government employee.
The only thing you were notified of is that this is a SCAM.  Give your state attorney general's office a call too.

Clearly a scam. I called to confirm - asked the person who answered what company they were. They refused to answer, then swore and hung up.
Filing a complaint at ffc.gov and with the attorney general's office.

I contacted the Feinberg Group, who are actually attorney in Washington DC.  I informed them that a company, claiming to be them, is calling and harassing people over scam debts. The receptionist told me that they have about 4 or 5 calls this morning alone regarding this.  They are NOT the same group.  Don't call these people back, they are rude, will hang up and told me if I paid my f**cking bills I would not be getting calls. I do not owe the company they say I do. As a matter of fact, I have never dealt with this bank they claim I owe money too.  Scary thing is they had my full social security number, date of birth, address, work address and of course my work phone number as they called me at work! Scum...I tell you.

Absolute scam. Never ever respond to anyone or any number & never ever send $.  Demand request in writing. They won't comply.  They are bottom feeders and like cockroaches are here to stay. Report them & don't let them scare you!  If there is a legitimate Feinberg Group, I feel for them.
