this number has been harrassing my parents these calls need to stop, they are elderly and the calls are disturbing.

Called my business claiming that my daughter was involved in court case and if she didnt return the call the case would be settled against her. When I called the number they did not answer with a company name. But said they would remove my number. I ve heard that before.

1. Phone calls, faxes & emails are NOT official notification.  Demand a written letter mailed (post office) to you.
2. It is illegal to give information to  a third party (you).
3. They answer the phone with no company name - would a legitimate company do that?
4. If you/she were to be served, you would NOT be told in advance.

received numerous calls from 1-844-834-1510 stating they will take legal action against us gave no other info

These idiots called my inlaws and left a file number. I called them back, they are collecting on a payday loan that I never, and would never take out. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Would love to find them and serve them with papers.

They used a spoofed local number to try and get me to pick up, and left a message saying to call 844-834-1510 about "an important banking transaction." Bee-Ess. Nope, I'm not biting.

As Moe stated previously, I too, received the same message regarding "an important banking transaction that could affect my banking situation?"  My question is, why is it so easy for scammers/criminals to take money from hard working people by threatening their livelihood?  Let the harassing callers leave messages, but do not respond to their ridiculous antics.  You, as an individual, know about your financial situation.  When I receive phone calls like this, I check my account to make sure my identity hasn't been stolen or any unauthorized transactions have been made.   Beware of these scammers.

Please be advise this number is calling my work number. The call is being transferred to incorrect line. At this time several employees are upset about the calls.  At this time this is causing my job to be jeopardized.  Under the United States, the fairDebt Collection Practices Act out lines what a debt collectors can and cannot do to collect a debt.  Debt collectors cannot legally call me on my job or call a relative or other third party if you tell them not to. PLEASE, don't ever post your personal info on any site. There are not just scammers out there, but perverts too. Be careful!!

You may want to print off this thread and give it to your HR Dept and manager - you should not be fired for being harassed by scammers!  Your employer may be able to have their telecom service provider block the number(s) these losers are calling from.

If you can find out the name of this bunch of criminal debt collectors, we may be able to get you an address to send a cease and desist letter to as well as information for making a complaint to the proper authorities.  It is a common ploy to harass people at work in an attempt to extort money from them.

I called the number back and asked for the company name to research them.  "Jenna" answered and refused to supply an address or any other name of the company other than "Recovery Solutions".  I asked if she was representing a debt collection agency and she said yes, but she would give me no other information.  I identified my company name and instructed her that I was investigating a complaint of an unwanted call from this number, and Jenna became very snarky.  She told me that I was not investigating anything, and that if I wanted to block the number I would.  I told her I was investigating the company to ensure that they were a debt collection agency and not misrepresenting themselves.  In an ever increasingly rude tone, she said "Just block us then!".  If someone can identify the actual company, please do so.  I was unable to find this actual company name in relation to a debt collection agency.  They are NOT the same company as www.recoverysolutions.com (they seem to be a reputable computer systems data recovery company, and was surprised when I called them and told them of this experience).
