Got a call from "Kaspersky" that they picked up a problem with my computer.  #1- Kaspersky does not call customers.  #2- He sounded unsure. #3- I called him back (He actually answered "Kaspersky, how can I help you") and told him to stop scamming people.

recorded message from "Microsoft"  saying showing "suspicious activity" on my PC - need firewall to protect my financial information, etc,  etc.   et al ---  ad nauseum...............

Got the same recorded call. I did not let it even finish befor hanging up.

I got the same recorded call. Called the # back from office phone & told him to remove me from their call list & he had no idea what I was talking about. I told him that I just received an automated call to not use my computer until I called Microsoft & he hung up on me.

Just received a call from the number...scammer alert saying call Microsoft there is issues with my computer and using credit cards to buy online.

Yea right!

Got a call from this number with a robotic voice telling me that my computer firewall has been breached and I should not use my computer until I have spoken with their service agents. I pressed 9 and I was connected to an Indian call center agent with a thick accent telling me to give full control of my computer to him, he then gladly installed a trojan onto my computer which gave him full control even after we hung up. He now watches my screen all the time, knows about all the website I uses, for a small 400 a month fee I have a private security guard watching my computer. Couldn't be more satisfied.

Scammer call rob saying Microsoft needs tech to get in your computer NOW

Scam call claiming to be Microsoft. Unlike many, will leave a message, which is in such poor English it gives them away immediately.

Recd robo call saying from Microsoft and we are having major problems with comuter and to call them back.  Been sick and in hosp for several weeks--have not even been on the computer.

Illegal robo call to private number on the national DNC list.

Now calling Canada. Same as other reports. Recorded msg. to call Microsoft about computer problems and that
all your financial info has been compromised. SCAM.

Got a call from a Skype number at work today.  The message described buy others was as described.   Clearly a scam, and a low-rent one at that

Robo call: Left voice message saying it was Microsoft and warning to "not do shopping on your computer until you don't get it fixed" (sic). I won't be getting it "fixed".

I got "the call" from supposed Microsoft that my firewall was compromised and not to use my computer until I called them to "fix it". SCAM SCAM SCAM
