Got an early morning call from this number, claiming to be my doctors office, saying I had an appointment in a few days. First question was "what is your DOB" When I said there is no appointment for me,  she demanded that I tell her my DOB, so she could give me details about the appointment. He demand for my DOB felt suspicious, so I hung up. My doctor's office later confirmed there is no appointment and they didn't call me...

My phone didn’t ring, but I had a voicemail alert about an upcoming procedure I have. I have called the number back 5 different times, as everyone I called, it went into an automated message that stated my providers office, and if this was a medical emergency, hang up and dial 9-1-1, then would disconnect me. They also called me at 7:00PM. I am calling my procedure coordinator tomorrow to let them know about this.

Interesting how "she" turned into a "he".  Too bad you made this post 2 years ago and I will never get a reply.

So you have an "upcoming procedure" that you know about?  "everyone you called"?  The calls went to your provider's office?  Exactly what makes you think that in this particular instance that this is not a legitimate call?  Wait, maybe you are setting this thread up to make people think this is a legitimate call because you are going to come back and tell them that?
