I got a weird voicemail... Couldn't understand the man very well, he mumbled a lot of it and possibly used voice disguise, but what I got was that it was of dire importance that I call him back within 48 hours, he stated the phone number to call him at, and then he ended the call with something like "If you don't call back, then all I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds..." Sounded sort of threatening... Not sure what to do with this.

Got the same message about half an hour ago. I think it's a scam

Same here, can't understand what he says, hang up.

I got a phone call around 2:00pm this afternoon..........could understand what the guy was saying.  I hang up.

I didn't pick up on my cell as I didn't recognize the number. Got a cut off Voice-mail with "if I don't hear back from you or your attorney, all I can say is good luck. As the situation that now unfolds is on you. Have a nice day" he also left the number twice for me to call back. I have no idea what to make of this...

Same here--same threat. Ignore it. He claimed he was from some taxation place--I think it was revenue Canada.  It could be that scam where they have people run around and get all kinds of prepaid cards to send because they claim you owe the government money. It's a recent thing. The number links to China

just checked a few other sites. People who called back were asked for their credit card info. When they asked which credit card, the person couldn't tell them. When they refused to give info, the person became hostile and abusive. Do NOT call them back.

I received the same call and same message left on my work voicemail. Appreciate all these posts as I will not call back either!

I just received a call from this same number and screened it as I didn't recognize the caller ID.  Got the same cut off threatening voicemail from a male saying if I didn't call back "good luck as the situation will now unfold on you". I'm so glad I found this page as I was about to call the cops haha. Don't answer calls from this number!

Haha ya I was thinking of contacting the cops as well since it's a little unsettling, but I'm glad I wasn't the only one, and definitely seems like an innocent scam! Nothing to worry about, there was no follow-up afterward :)

The message left by this man is very strange, and was so hard to understand.  Thanks to those who posted their comments.
