Got email from a friend's (hacked) gmail address, and that message said some "image can't be displayed."  Unfortunately, my husband clicked the link in that message, at which point a popup window appeared on his mac.  The window said that his computer is infected and in danger of security breach, showing this phone number to be called.  He called the number and spent about half an hour (or more) with a supposed "tech person" on the phone--I am not sure what they were doing, since I was not aware what my husband was doing until toward the end of the "session," when the supposed tech guy on the other end of the phone was telling my husband that his computer is infected and cannot be cleaned up UNLESS my husband contacts a "Cyber Security Center."  When I came along and asked this guy what organization he belongs to, he said "Apple Support."  It is obviously not true, since we spoke to the real Apple Support a few minutes later and confirmed that this telephone number does NOT belong to Apple.     This scamming group also mention APPLE in their fraudulent pop up window message.  TRUE SCAMMERS!!  844-867-8991

I called this number for support logging into my Facebook account.  They got access to my computer and then wanted my SS number!!  I knew something wasn’t right about 10 seconds into the call.
