Got a call from 844-873-8179 today (6-26-19).  Didn't answer but they left voicemail.  Said BCBS wants to talk to me about a valuable service they provide to members.  I am guessing it is about their home visit service.

Got a call from (844) 873-8179.  The phone displayed BCBS of TX. Asked for my husband on my phone. My husband has his own BCBS plan so not sure why they called me. It was about their in home service but wanted to book an appointment to come by my house. Uh NO. I told him we had that in our plan and weren’t in need in that service at this time. He said “this was just preventative” and wanted to sit down and discuss it. I basically said… don’t call us, we will call you when the service is needed. Just felt uneasy about the whole conversation.

This number is not a robocall. They are not trying to sell you anything, but instead get you to use a benefit you already paid for.  It is Signify Health, as a contractor to your Medicare Plan, trying to encourage you to get the free annual health checkup you're entitled to under your Medicare health plan. Your health insurance carrier is motivated by the money it gets from the federal government to have you get an annual checkup so they can treat something before it gets worse. If you don't want the free annual checkup, don't answer the call. If you do want the service, call your doctor.

Nope, nope, nope.  They want to make you look sicker than you really are so that they get more money from the government.

No conspiracy theory, simple fact that someone as weak minded as you wouldn't be smart enough to check to see if it was fact.

Although plans submit bids to CMS for a standard beneficiary, the actual monthly payments for each plan member increase or decrease based on the risk scores of those who have enrolled. As a result, generating higher risk scores for MA members increases MA plan revenues. The patient diagnoses reported by physicians determine risk scores, and MA plans can directly or indirectly create incentives to affect physician coding, as detailed in a recent Department of Justice complaint against Kaiser Permanente.
And no, unlike you I am smart enough to know that isn't true just as I was smart enough not to one of those people who wear red hats.  Now, go crawl back under your rock and lick your wounds little troll.

844-873-8179 Called with a sing song script telling me they would be doing a house call. I declined-they said I could choose between tele doc or in home treatment I said I didn’t want either. He asked to confirm my info I said you have my info. Very pushy and he made it sound like I had no choice.

Called 5 times over a 14 day period and left voicemails.  I answered 5th time.  Was told a healthcare person WOULD be coming to my house next week one evening.  I declined and said nope i never asked for this.  He said its ok its free and its already scheduled for 8pm.  Asked me to verify when I would be home and trying to get my schedule to see when I normally get home if I want a different day.  Asked me to verify my personal information like my address.

I got really angry and told the guy to never call me again.  Blocked number.    If this person really works for BCBS they should be terminated.  Pushy, rude, insistent.  I don't have time for this kind of BS.

Caller (from a local number) identified as Tim with Signify Health. He said he was calling on behalf of our health insurance company to provide an in-home health assessment that's part of our benefits.  "Tim" has called multiple times with caller ID as various local numbers but his voice message always asks me to call "Signify Health" at 844-873-8179.  That IS NOT the toll-free number for Signify Health. Tim-the-Scammer can only spoof local numbers and leave messages because I WILL NOT be falling for his tricky game.
