I didn't get a call but my daughter and in-laws did. Funny thing is they asked for my ex at my daughters and me at the expense in-laws. Anyone looking for us should have our numbers and no way should have my daughters. Mentioned a civil lawsuit on both voicemail. Guessing nothing legitimate.

Same here. I did get a call on my cell but my fam got calls to before I could call back. Said it was civil litigation and it was for a loan that I took out but I just called the co I got it from n they gave me the info but had to call 3 other ones it was with until I finally got back to brown and goldstein inc. so will update this if they dont send me proof now I paid it off. They've called my daughters, my ex, my sons-in-law, my daughter's ex, his girlfriend, and his dad.  Total scam. I have no unpaid loans, credit cards or anything else. I've reported them.

I rec'd an annoyance voice message from this number. As a former collector i am familiar with this type of harassment, nor would i at anytime return a call to crooks. Nor would i at anytime recommend anyone return an annoyance call to any agency you are not familiar with.

I received a call from this number this morning.  The lady said her name was Yvonne and I asked her who she was with and she told me Brown and Goldstein. It was my son she was looking for, said someone was going to file a civil suit against him.  I just hung up.

I got a voicemail from this number stating that they were from Something and Goldstein about a civil suit against me, told me to call them so they didn't have to send papers off.

My husband got a call last night stating that it was intended for Cathy Collins. Robotic voice claimed to be Alex from Brown & Goldstein.  Message stated was concerning a civil litigation matter and gave a case number to reference.  Since my husband has had same cell # for over 10 yrs and we KNOW NO ONE by that name, was going to call back and let them know they had wrong #; but something made me check the # for possible scams and I found this site.  Won't be calling them at all.

Knew it was a scam and decided to play along, stated that I took out a 500 loan at 644% interest rate back in June 2016 and I stopped making payment in October of 2016. I asked if they took iTunes gift cards as payments and he laughed. I recorded it all if someone wants to hear it.

Just received a voice mail on my cell phone that was "intended" for someone else. They also referenced a civil litigation matter. I agree - nothing legit.

Rcvd 2 calls on different days referencing loan with warning that if we didn't all [Sophia?] back by 5PM the paperwork would be initiated. We blocked 1st number, but they called again on another. Each time they referenced a different unknown individual.We have no loans nor intention of returning these call as advised by security experts.

I have received several voice mails for a Nicole (not my name or anyone I know) that they're coming by the house for me to sign papers (I assume she means to effect service), BUT I can call Brown and Goldstein and put a stop to it. It's my last chance ;) Won't be calling them back.

This is an outsourced collection agency for pay day loans.  They keep calling my number, but say the message is for one of my children.  I assume I was listed as a reference.  It's a collection harassment tactic they use, hoping we will get pissed and pass on the message.  They will continue to harass anyone they have a phone number for, even if you tell them you are not that person and that your number is not theirs.  They don't give you a name of their company, which is Brown and Goldstein, but instead tell you they received the claim this morning with orders to serve a person at work.

I’ve paid back all my same day loans and they continuously call me and all my family members saying it is a civil suit against me and they are going to be at my home for them to sign the papers.. number calling 844-874-4221
