Mine wasn't a call, I found the number in a letter indicating I "won" two tickets on US Airlines.

I received the same thing. I'm assuming now that it's a scam.

I just received a letter from the supposed "US Airlines" telling me the same thing, and it has the same phone number in the last paragraph. It really looks official, but I know better to call them after doing some research, and after what they say in the letter.

They say that they have been trying to call me, and nope, no good, I am by this phone all of the time, and not once has their number called my home phone.

They say in the letter:

"I am pleased to inform you that you have qualified for an award of 2 round-trip airline tickets. Congratulations! These tickets are valid for travel anywhere in the continental U.S. from any major international airport. The retail value of this award is up to $1,375.00. Certain restrictions apply.

We have attempted contacting you several times without success. This is our final attempt. If we do not hear from you soon, we may need to issue the ticket vouchers to the alternate.

Please call me today at 1-844-876-2694

Then on the side of the US Airlines paper, they have special codes and reply by numbers.

US Airlines now using this new unreported phone #  844-876-8810.  Fake check says Scottsdale AZ 85251.  There several
complaints filed with FTC & BBB and various state agencies.  Travel scam from the following companies:

Hi, I received the same letter today.  I don't want to call them since they'll have my phone number.  I guess that wouldn't be so bad since they have been trying to contact me.  SPAM!
