She said she was from BMO and that she was offering a deal to business owners. When I said I didnt have a business she hung up

Robocaller... said I'm getting arrested for tax evasion or something. Funny...

She called and said she was from BMO regarding an email they sent me for business owners . She spoke really fast, could barely make out the words she was saying and when I said I wasn’t interested she just hung up. I never did get an email from BMO regarding this. Likely a scammer.

Woman called saying she is from BMO about credit card pre approved 10000$, asked if I was a business owner.  i said yes and she went on telling me about the offer.  She offered to start the request and I would get the card by mail in a few days.  I told her I didn’t know who she was as the # was unknown so I would do it online. She said sure you can log on to your account and you should find the offer there or in your emails.. perhaps check your spam.  Well there is no email and no offer in my BMO account.

Never give info over the phone. Best practice call you branch instead and ask about it… the number you call your branch is better than the unknown that called you!!

Caller ID says the call is from BMO, but I know that it's fraudulent.

I doubted it was fraudulent. Just did not take and blocked it.

I receive numerous calls from this number over the past few days.  No response just silence when I answer the calls.  Creepy so I blocked the number.

Calls from this number are not trustworthy. From the posts it looks like this number is used for a couple of different scams. The removed posts were ones that were placed by shills for the scam to try to trick people into thinking the calls are legit. Ignore calls, block the number and do not call back.

i got a call from this number saying he is from BMO… funny thing is he know i was pre-approved for a credit card and also know the expiry for offer..but the way he talked i can guess it was fake….plus bank didnt call me last time i was pre-approved…how do they even get the info

I didn't pick up and it went into voicemail foe over a minute without saying a word.
