- Henrietta| 2 repliesWon't stop calling. They are harassing with court papers. I don't owe anyone anything. This kind of scam needs to STOP
- Tygerakt replies to HenriettaYou can help to stop it by blocking their calls or, at the very least, not answering unknown phone numbers. If they can't speak to you they can't attempt to scam you.
- CarlosSame call from a male, when I called the 844 number, I got a Ms. Morris on the line and she hung up on me. I called back 4 times to speak to her until she stated "You don't know who you are messing with. I can ruin you if you do not cooperate." She promptly hiung up on me again so I called back to speak to a "Supervisor". When low and behold, Ms. Morris was back on the phone with me. I confronted her about her comments and she said, "I do not know what you are talking about. I never said anything like that."
I figure I will call her on a regular basis and harass her just as they do me. Should be fun.- Caller: CMR

- RickeyI got a call from CRM on 8/1/2016. This is regarding a very old payday loan from 9 years ago. I do remember it but I truly forgot all about it after losing my job back then. Today I never thought to think of it with so much on my mind. This lady from CRM states that a complaint has been filed for breach of contract on a payday loan that was given to me online 9 years ago. She so stated that she had my driver license info and my address. She never asked me to verify anything. I've got calls about this scam before and now the calls are starting up again. Before it was ASG calling now it's CRM. I'm well aware of how the law works with legal proceedings and trust me everyone do NOT give them no information whatsoever. I asked the lady to send me a written validation letter proving to whom this is owed to. She got real nasty and said have a nice day. Secondly my drivers license has nothing to do with defaulting on a payday loan. I don't fall for theirtitle scare tactics. So I'm advising others out there do NOT even answer any 800 or 844 or any 800 numbers that you aren't aware of. They think people are stupid well try again.

- John Marochi| 2 repliesCRM: the usual threats..I owe them money and I will be arrested if I do not pay. I told her to go to hell!
- Caller: CRM
- Call type: Debt collector
- Rickey replies to John MarochiThey don't scare me lol
- Rickey replies to John MarochiSecondly you can't be arrested either for not paying a debt. It's a civil matter not criminal. That's the scare tactics they use
- Arleta| 2 repliesThis same number actually called my stepson asking for me in regards to a prescription. Not sure if they were trying to scam him, or me through calling my stepson. Be aware, they will use names of family members to convince you to call back, or give phone number of family to scam as well.
- Caller: Not sure, as they called my stepson
- Rickey replies to ArletaYeah don't fall for their scare tactics. They know I'm knowledged what's going on and they can't fool me. I know how legal proceedings work. Alerta don't lethink them fool you. They won't even send written validation of a supposed debt. They will say anything and everything to get you pay.
- Rickey replies to ArletaI even got into a screaming match with this lady thinking she can talk over me. I said listen here I know how the law works on debts. It's past the statue so no legal action can be taken. I said send proof of how I supposedly owe this creditor or the amount I owe. It won't happen they won't send it. They also use process servers, which a process server doesn't call you to inform you of a civil action against you. They show up and serve you papers. All these illegal threats are illegal and it's their scare tactics hoping someone will fall for it. The lady even told me my driver's license would be revoked and I laughed. I said haha thats funny this is pertaining to a civil action well as supposed action and you can't have your license revoked for failure to pay a debt. After I called back 4 times aND harassed them as they did me they got the hint. I even them a nasty email and filed complaints with the FTC and the CFPB.
- FB replies to HenriettaHere also!! They say they have documents for delivery, give you an 877 number just once. I'm tired of this happening
