Scam. Caller said there is problem with my computer at home. I ask him what computer he says the windows computer, reading out some made up code. I tell him I don't have a windows computer at home, he asks me to cross-reference it lol I told him nicely to get a better job and hung up. He calls me back to say f you.

I had the same experience with this being a scam call. Said he was calling about my virus monitoring software notifying them of a problem. I hung up because I'd heard of this scam many times. They called me back 4 more times within seconds of each other.

Asian girl persistent about my computer saying that Microsoft has stopped. Of course i couldn't understand what she was saying and how she got my phone #. She Made up some answer. I told her my computer at office. She will be calling me monday. Of course, that # goes into my "dont answer " book.

While on my computer, all of a sudden a giant message comes on my screen with a robotic voice indicating my computer is being hacked and I should call 844-882-6143, or Microsoft will shut down my computer.  I did not, and would not call that number.  These are scams!  They want to steal your personal info for there use!

Pop up message on screen saying I my computer had Microsoft issues etc. and to call 844-882-6143. I just ended the process thru task manager and resolved issue. But they have done this now 2 days in a row!! Ugh!

Message popped up on my computer telling me to call the number because I had a virus on my computer. I did screen shots of the message just in case I did have a virus so the computer dude would know what I was talking about. Unhooked the ethernet from computer. Went in a deleted all my history (over 1,000 for that page... jeeeze). Ran Disk Clean up on my drives.  Ran a quick virus check (nothing found).  Hooked up the ethernet and updated my virus program and am now running a full system scan.
This stupid scam locked up my computer for a while but all seems good so far... fingers crossed.

Keep getting messages on my computer that my passwords may be vulnerable or a virus has infected my computer.
