Just got a call from this #. I didn't recognize it so I let it go to voicemail (there wasn't a voice message left). Decided to look up the number & it brought me here. I figure if it's important enough, they'll leave a message.

Caller did not leave a message.

Why cant we stop these calls.

They've been calling me every day for threec weeks now.  Never leaves a message. Just wakes me up evermorning.

Calls several times a week. Heavy Indian accent. Claims "Astra business solutions". Knows my name and ask me to verify my address. They won't tell you what the call is concerning unless you verify personal information and since I won't they usually get pissed off and hang up

It's a scam. I hate this

I got two calls from this number today. Because I am waiting on Mazda to call me back about my recall and repair, I have been answering unidentified numbers. The second this number called today, I answered. It was a woman who stated she was from "ASTRA Business Services", read off my name and my address and asked me to verify it. I asked her who she was and why she was calling me. She repeated the business name and then rattled off my name and address again and asked me to verify. I asked her AGAIN why she was calling me and she mumbled something about a debt collection. I am current on all of what little bills I owe. [***] em. I hung up on her ass. I get 2-3 scam calls A DAY. Some weeks I go and don't get one, other weeks it seems I get 20. [***] annoying!!!!

I get numerous calls from this number throughout the day. Sometimes with no one saying a word from the other end. This is getting ridiculous now. It's got to stop.

I just so happened to answer this number and I usually NEVER answer any calls from numbers I don't know. But the lady asked me; is this Jennifer and is this the last 4 digits of your social security number?? and I asked who was this several times and I couldn't even understand her, non english speaking person. She was being very persuasive. I just ended up hanging up. So I *67 and called the number back and some guy answered the phone with just a hello.

This number calls me EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I have them blocked. ASTRA BUSINESS SERVICES. Do NOT answer. THey want you to confirm your personal information and do not want to tell you why they are calling. A scam if I ever heard of one. Tell them to f*** off.

Wanted to know my phone number-like you called me. Then wanted my granddaughters number. I hung up.

Talked with a rep who said i owed 59 dollars but would settle for 40. I then asked for an invoice or a website and they said they don't have any. TOTAL SCAM!

In instances where you want to a block a number that isn't stored as a contact in your phone, go to the Phone app > Recents. Look for the number (or name) you'd like to block and tap the blue "i" with a circle around it to the right of the number. Scroll down to the bottom of the contact card that appears and select "Block This Caller." The message "You will not receive phone calls, messages, or FaceTime from people on the block list" will appear with two options: Block Contact or Cancel. Hit Block Contact to add the number to the big, bad blocked list.

This numbers calls several times a day on my cell...I have it blocked on my phone.   I never answer as they will call every day up to 3-6 times never leaves a voice message, this has been going on for the past several months with the same outcome.  My caller ID states that it is Christus Clinic never heard of them, have no idea who or why they would be calling me.

Just because someone on the phone calling you says you owe a debt does not mean you actually owe it.

If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  dime until the debt is validated

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply ignore them and block their calls.

If they are bothering you, report them:

If they continue to bother you,  and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

You'll probably have to yell at them and talk over them.
You have to get tuff with these people because,  being akin to thugs, brute force is (metaphorically speaking),  the only thing they understand.

Whoever is calling from this number has nothing to do with Astra services. Astra is a transportation international company. This number is a total scam block and do not answer.

Just received a call from this number. Didn't answer. Called it back. Gentleman from India call center. Wouldn't explain what the company does other than "personal information." Blocked the number.
