- Valerie replies to J-I also just received a call asking for Health Insurance info - Very strong accent and it sounded like it was made in a call center as I could hear other people on the phone. They left a message that I had an outstanding bill from an ER visit.
- TaylorVery hard to understand the VM she left, call about my recent visit to the ER, wanting to work something out regarding the money I still owed. I owe nothing, my insurance paid my portion, SCAM.

- MCalls once every week. Leaves no voicemail. When I called back once, she said something about insurance and "call may be recorded." It sounded automated. I waited 30 seconds to see if "it" will speak but no luck. If it's urgent, they'd also email me instead of harassing me.

- KELLEYalways call, but never leave a message
- CThey call and say they need to discuss my daughter's insurance; they implied they were calling on behalf of Aetna, even mentioned them by name. Then they ask me to give confirm her date of birth by giving it to them. As if I would. If they were calling about anything legit, they'd have that info. I told them I would not discuss on phone and if they have an issue they should write me. I'm not holding my breath. I have blocked the number but they keep calling.
- Caller: would not give me a name

- TLCalled many times and did not leave a voicemail. They kept calling and eventually I answered. He sounded as if he was calling from a center in India. Guy said his name was Adam and claimed they had information about a recent EMS visit. I told him if they had an issue to send it in the mail and didn't confirm any information. He wanted me to confirm my address but i refused and hung up. Definitely a SCAM. I blocked the number from my cell and will provide a complaint to the federal trade commission.

- KJCThey called me again and wanted me to verify my address. Stated it had to do with a recent hospital visit. I told her I wouldn't verify anything with her and hang up. Not sure how the number got through since I blocked it 2 days ago.
- Sonya D| 1 replyThe call sounded like it came from a call center overseas. The guy's accent was super thick so it was hard to understand much of what he was saying but he did know that I'd had a recent ER visit and he did know who my insurer was and which hospital I went to. He was wanting me to pay for an amount not covered. I knew it was BS because I've already checked the claim and I owe nothing on top of the deductible I've already paid. I told him I wasn't dealing with a third party and that I'd work with my insurance company directly. The crappy part is that either the hospital or the insurance company is selling our info to these people.
- Caller: Couldn't understand the company name

- BigA replies to Sonya D"The crappy part is that either the hospital or the insurance company is selling our info to these people." If that were true then he would have known who the insurer was and what hospital was involved. By your own statement he did not know that information, something he certainly would have if they were "selling" your info, which by the way would be illegal and I doubt they would risk being fined the thousands and thousands of dollars they could get if they violated HIPAA rules.
- EReceived call from a person that was very polite but stated it was regarding a recent visit to the local hospital and they were NOT calling from the hospital, but they represented the physicians. They wanted to talk with my partner and when I told them that person was not available they wanted the phone number to be able to reach them. Told them if they were representing the doctor that was connected through the hospital they should already have several alternative numbers. Told me they were not allowed to tell me what it was concerning. But did know about a hospital that was visited. Probably a huge SCAM
