called and said they filed a lawsuit against me for tax fraud

Called and told me that I had a lawsuit filed against me by the IRS

called and said I had a warrant out and was being charged with tx fraud. I called the real IRS AND reported the phone number.

Choppy computer voice said a fraud lawsuit has been filed against me by the United States government

Robot called claiming to be IRS. Stated a warrant has been issued and a lawsuit has been filed against me for tax fraud and that I have been notified repeatedly. Not true. Scam.

I just got the same call.  The call uses the same M.O. as a telephone hoax that was perpetrated a number of years ago.  And by the way, the chances of a lawsuit having filed against you without you knowing about it.are about 1 in 1,000,000.

Same as the above posters.  Got a robot call claiming tax fraud & the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me.  Obvious scam.

Terrible computer generated voice mail. Like previous comments, telling me about tax fraud, and that they've been trying to reach me for the past 6 months.

The IRS does NOT use robot calls to inform you of a fraud case against you! This is a SCAM!
