Call him back immediately and get a lawyer. Accused of being charged for not paying taxes.

Lol. Got the same one. The [***] have nothing better to do but trying to scam people. The CRA will never ask you for money over the phone. I told him to go F off and told him to send the cops to my house. Lmao.

This phone number called me today. After I picked up the phone, it was a voice mail that said he was from CRA crime department and his name is Robert xxxx. He said that it was time sensative issue and asked me or my lawyer to call this number back immediately otherwise....I ended up called CRA and reported this scammer.

They just called my office, it is the CRA scam that everyone's been warned about (Every Year).

Called me on my cell and left a vc message. Same deal as others have listed.

Clue #1 - CRA does NOT have record of my cell number

Same thing.  Fake threat of legal action.  Think about it, if it was true, the Fed doesn't do anything fast.

He said his name but i cannot clearly understand him then he said if I don't return his call the evil spirits will summon me 😑

I didn't know that you had to repot cops.  Do they grow bigger and stronger if you report them on a regular basis?

Got the same call, and left a voicemail. It's a guy with an Asian accent saying his name is Robert Williams. That was enough for me to hang up and know it was a scammer, but I listened on. He says "this is a time sensitive message" and threatened legal action. I know my [***] is in order, so I knew it was bogus, if there was any doubt. Thought I'd google and share the info.

Got a warning on desktop PC telling me that I had a virus which would permantly lock me out of my computer if I didn't call 844-883-9715 within 5 minutes.  Hope it was a scam because I didn't call.

This number showed up on a web site "warning malware detected".  after multiple incidents of the same warning showed up I became suspicious and now wonder how to get this off my computer?

My father got Malware warning supposedly from Microsoft telling him to call this number. We did not call.

I had the same problem for the last 2 weeks, it started after tried to update our old Garmin.... which I thought I contacted Garmin for help and my problems started after that......... I deleted all cookie and caches on my google chrome and checked my extension, found a garmin extension , deleted it and so far I had no more problems......you my have some extension , which shouldn't  be there too.... hope this helps
