Called repeatedly and finally left a message today stating I won $25K. Caller ID says the name is CTG from a different phone #. Not calling back.

Same as all the others from this number and Alex.

Got a phone call from Katie that I won a $25K Cash Away 1/8/19. Call back number: 844-892-4191, extension 773. Scam suspected.

Call came from 866 217 6231 same message, I won $25,000 for a sweepstakes entry and to call back 844 892 4191 ext 950

Voicemail said it was Alex from Holiday Giveaway and that I had won $25,000 in drawing I had recently entered at a shopping mall or grocery.  I did not enter any drawings during the holiday season.  I did not return the call. The message said to call Alex at (844) 892-4191 x950

So glad that I verified this before I called!  Alex is still trying to giveaway $25K.  Just received a call from 866-217-6231, telling me that I won the Holiday Cash Giveaway for $25K that I entered at a mall, grocery store or event.  I definitely didn’t enter so this has to be a new scam.  Alex, who is a pre-recorded voice, asked me to call him at 844-882-4191 x 950.  Pull the other leg, it jingles.

Lol - got the same message from 844-892-4191. A sure scam . . . . . . Do not call them back.

Same call as all the others.   Did anyone actually talk to them.  What are they selling?

They called back from another number.  You won 1 of 3 prizes.  Had to married or living with someone from 39 to 75 and a certain income    Maybe a retirement home or condo sale

And Alex continues into the new year! I just received a call from Alex stating that I had won $25k from a contest I entered at a mall, grocery store or some other event. Supposed to call him back at 844-892-4191 ext 950

Same as the rest that I won 25K from a contest blah blah, call Alex at ext 950. Glad to hear everyone's experience. I never called back.

I received the very same message from "Alex" telling me to call back to (844) 892-4190 x950 even though the caller ID said the incoming call was from (866) 217-6231.

Alex has changed his scam!  He called me and said that "he longed on to my computer - remember?"  Probably one of the guys calling from "Microsoft" saying I been locked out of Windows due to a problem only he can fix!  a-huh!  And I am married to the easter bunny!  SOO Blocked!!!

Called and said my computer is sending virus signals to them and they want to log into my computer to fix the bug. My computer is has virus protection. I told him he is lying and I’ll report the matter and hung up.

Supposedly calling from Geek squad warning me not to give out any info to anyone who tries to call about fixing a virus. Then he goes on to remind me that next week I’m eligible for a free computer check so long as I have my pin, which he asked me for. I told him he was a scam and hung up.

Called and said he was from the Geek Squad from Best Buy and needed me to go to my computer about something.  I asked for his number and he gave me some random number and when I was going to say that I could call him right back, he said that it was not the right number. Then he complained that I did not need his number.   Then, he hung up on me.    Funny -- the Best Buy Geek Squad does not match the $25K sweepstakes stories told in the above complaints but my call was from 844-892-4191.
