Called and left message that they were DC Federal Credit Union and they had noticed some questionable activity on my account. They actually had the last 4 of my account number. Wanted me to call back and verify information. When you call the number back it's press 1 then they start asking for other information to verify that you are who the account belong to. Don't fall for it. I hung up as soon as they wanted my birthday.  This is a scam.

Claimed they were "security services on behalf of BECU"

The recording said there was some unusual activity on my card number and listed the last 4 digits.  Then also gave me another number to call back.  Guess what..I refuse to call any number instead I will call the CU back with the number I know for them.  I will beat this scammer at their own attempt at trying to make me a victim.  Just keep your own notes and report it to your bank and Better Business Bureau.  Good luck.

They wanted my son’s atm info for validating charges on the account. I have not been on that account for 7 months

Tried it with me as well, wanted my bd info  - ha! Not likely . - SCAM

Called me at 743pm eastern time multiple times claiming they were from BFCU with my 4 last disgust of my account number . It sounded fishy so I looked up my local Bethpage and called the 800 number and it said that I reached after hours no representative was there to help me so I blocked the number and they left me a message claiming there was suspicious fraud on my atm bank card! It’s a scam!!!!!

Received the following message on mobile phone: "This is the cardmember security department on behalf of members 1st credit union calling for [full name]. We need to verify some recent activity on your ATM debit card ending in ####. In order to prevent possible difficulties using your card, it's important that you call us back at your earliest convenience toll free at 844-926-3585 to verify this activity. You may call us back 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The number again is 844-926-3585. You may opt out of future automated call and text contact to this phone number by call 844-926-3585 and follow the necessary prompts. Thanks you for being a credit union member."

Checked our card activity...no such activity recorded. This is SPAM, didn't return call.

Calling multiple times attempting yo get information. It’s a scam.

This number called saying they were the fraud dept and said there were some activity with my account and the robot lady voice first ask for my birthday and Mt zip code area for my debit card. Do not leave any info and call your bank and tell them about the call and telephone number.

Called me after a paypal transaction claiming to be my bank i dont beleive it because my bank transfered it with no troubles if they REALLY called me they would have paused the transaction. So SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM dont trust
