Got an email claiming that a charge for $299.99 for 3 years of Windows Defender had been approved and that I could call this number if there was a problem. No such charge appears on any of my CC's so I'm not calling. I assume this is nothing more than a scam.

Same as above -this was tthe number they provided that I was to call.

I got the same thing today, but was for Norton LifeLock.

I got the same type message, but, regarding Norton Lifelock. Message came from billing@outgoing3.jnb.host-h.net. Seems like a scam to me.

Ditto for Norton Lifelock. I ignored it. Looked suspicious.

Just received the same message as well.  Scam

Just received this. Refuse to contact them because we would never pay for this--we have other options. This came through my email. And Microsoft is spelled Mcrosoft!

Yes, it is.  They have been calling for many years and now by emails.  Guys (sometime women) always have indian accent.  Just crooks

It looks like these crooks don't have anything productive to do.  I wish these guys could be put in jail.  Unfortunately, I believe they operate from other countries (typically they have Indian accent).

Color me dumb, but I tried calling the number. No answer on a Sunday. Tried on Monday during business hours -- still no answer. We did, unfortunately, have 2 orders from Window World, and I wasn't sure we had not signed something, so I persisted. Terrible company.

Emails 3-4 times a week saying my account billing is being renewed. $299.00

I received an email with this number as a contact stating my subscription was up for renewal for $299 for windows defender.  I figured it was a scam since the email was sent from
infosdsxgeslqcmxjdefupport@websitehome.co.uk .
I also got a call last week too but from a different number and they said it was going to auto renew and charge me $6800.

Got an email and was going to call because I don't have any Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection.  Glad I checked this out first.  I thought it was a scam now I am confirmed.

I just received this exact email. I’m glad I checked it out because I thought it may be legit as they usually have something in the email to confirm your info. I am so tired of these scams!
