Received a call, robo message, no name given for who was calling
It would appear to be a scam, but most definitely not a good business operation.
Caller could be Christus, but they should identify themselves as such if they are!!!;
Very poor business approach, and would tend to intimidate those who do not want any problems with their hospital, healthcare providers, or doctors

Got the same thing Pam.  I did not answer the phone, but when I listened to the voicemail they left me it said this....if your legal name is Aileen ....please press 1.  That was all.

When I answered the sky turned a weird shade of grey. Before I heard anything two little beings with large black eyes were leading me to this glowing metallic object . More like floating toward the object  . When at the metallic object , a panel type door raised and inside was filled beautiful naked blondes probing themselves with each others faces my my ! One little fellow with big eyes says enter earthling and become our captain and live forever traveling the outer skirts of the cosmos. . And I woke cause I had to pee.. just Luke that !!!

I received a call from 844-936-6007 today.
The caller ID said "Toll Free Call".
I answered and an "automated voice" said, "This is an important message from your healthcare provider."
Then they disconnected.

I received a call from this number and several other random numbers and the same thing has happened about four times now:  an automated voice says "this is an important call from your healthcare provider" and then it hangs up....which is fine with me!

Spoke with them last week. Debt collector for Christus. Called the number listed. It was for ER visits. Laughed. Disabled. They will send forms. Be interesting if they send them. If it's a scam, it's a scam. If it's real, maybe I'll get the forms. The guy on the phone was polite. Didn't ask for anything insane like some other real scam medical bill calls I have had in the past, didn't demand payment now. So who
Knows.
Today the call was an accidental hang up and had to check the call log to see who it was. Noticed they have called A LOT. Not very smart. Never leave voice mail.

When we get calls like this one with no caller ID name display; we block them.  By federal law they have to display the correct name of a business on the caller ID along with the number when they make this type of call.  When they disregard the law like this, the call is obviously a scam.

Which Federal law states "they have to display the correct name of a business"? I've never heard of such a thing.

This is a legitimate call for hospital medical billing (possibly pre-collections).  Okay to answer, as this is not a scam, this is just their team trying to assist you with payment (or payment plans) before your bill gets turned over to collections and affects your credit score.

This VM number asked if "?" was my legal name then dropped off.  My Malware program said it's a known scammer.  If you owe money to your health care, deal directly with them and do not respond to this kind of call.

I did not answer. Sure it's that hospital that wants to collect $200 more on top of the $2000 they already got from insurance. Never! Especially cause the doctor talked me into an IV when I asked for a shot or pills. Insited I didn't want an IV he said I "really should" rediculas waste of money. My insurance paid it all. Doctor at ER was on the take as with most of them.

Christus Health Center billing department calling about $ owed

Received a phone call from this number.  I  answered on phone said Texarkana Gas. They hung up after I said Hello.

Called from 844-936-6007, said they were with Christis Health Business Office and to  call back 800-877-8623. Called the 800 number and they identified as Christus Healthcare Business Office but not able to get any response. Didn't identify what they were calling about. When I googled the 844 number it said it was a robo caller, sent collector.
