Recording saying they were from Ascension Hospital outpatient services about a past bill? Called back, put on hold, left my number for call back and they never called back.

I’m getting text messages to contact this in regards to a Accension hospital visit that they need more information from my insurance company to avoid out of pocket expenses is this a scam text

I often wonder why people can't figure out solutions to problems when it is so simple to do so.  First, you ask yourself "Was I in that hospital"?  Then you think to yourself "Maybe I should call them up at their known, published phone number to see what the problem is?".  But no, you come to a website and hope and pray that someone will stop by and tell you the truth.  However by the time that happens the bill is overdue and now you are in collections.  So, it is your choice, hope you make the right one!
