Got a call from this number just now. Quickly googled it and was surprised, first, to see that this website didn't pop-up (always my confirmation of a marketing call) and, second, that the sites that it did pull up were in Russian. Sheesh. No idea who they are. I'm blocking 'em. I do think it's a mobile number.

In Colorado if you are on a do not call list which I am, you can file in small claims court against the company that calls you.  The amount is $500.00.  What the problem is that concerns me is finding the company behind the calls.  This is Bandwidth number in Haverstraw, NY.  I need more information.  Can you help me here?

Caller ID said "Neighbor".   Got a recording starting with "DO NOT HANG UP" and so I did.....I can see the calls on my TV but as soon as I hang up they usually go away.   However, this call is still on the TV Screen.   I looked it up and its from NY.   I'm blocking it!   I'm so sick of calls like this!  WTF am I on the Do NOT Call List for?

I just received a call from this number which I let my machine pick up. It started with "Do not hang up.......(missed some and then my machine caught "National Healthcare providers are now authorized to provide new experimental pain relief cream that is directly applied to the pain related areas......... it is extremely effective .... is provided to you by your insurance carrier with no out of pocket expense ..... Press 1 now, ..... or Press 5 to notify your provider you are refusing ......." I did not feel like transcribing the entire message. The call id showed "neighbor" and I too will block the call.
I really don't like the fact they threaten to notify my provider I am refusing. If my provider knows about this, my doctor can talk to me at my next visit.

I think you are out of luck. I did a reverse look up and saw complaints for both pain relief cream and security signs. This appears to be an automated computer call service. Used for at least two companies.

Insurance scam going around the country.   I've received several of these calls.  The person I talked to had a Filipino accent.  Part of some boiler-room or another.   You can't sue them because most likely they are in another country.   And you couldn't find them in any case.

Ignore them.  Insurance scam mostly likely located in the Philippines.  I've gotten these too.  Next time they call I'm going to try to go along and give them a lot of false information.  Record it.  Put it up on Youtube.

Just one more Bullsh*t call. Happens almost every day now. The scam and snake oil salesmen are here to sat and our governmental "no call list are completely impotent to stop them. Heck, who knows, they may be getting a cut of the action...LOL. Really I doubt that... but you can see the gov. Orwellian agents can record all our emails and conversations but they can't halt the scam callers. Life has become a dark comedy. Actually I went about 5 days without a scam call and began to wonder if they have seen my bank balance...LOL. Next one who calls is going to have  it converted to a "sex" call from me...hahahahahah... Bring it on baby.

Here is the problem with this call, but before I get that, I would liker everyone to know I am an RN & have been working w/ HIPAA for over 8 years. I also have rheumatoid arthritis & have in the past year received multiple prescriptions for it. This caller/company has a current and correct list of my meds & diagnoses. The little snot who is on the line laughed at me when I told him that the fact that he has this info puts him & his company in violation of HIPAA. The only people who are supposed to have this medical information are people who either have a "medical need" for it, like a nurse, doctor, social worker, or someone who has "fiduciary need" for it (an insurance rep, case manager or state agency). I do not know how this company got the info, but whomever provided it them should be prosecuted. Any suggestions (legal, everyone, legal,,LOL)

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.
