I have been receiving cell phone calls from this number since January 2011.  Caller leaves message: "Don't disregard this information.  My name is David Watson from American Law Depart and you are involved in a Federal lawsuit.  We need to verify your Social Security number, your Driver's License # and your street address before we can document records for the court."  "Do not disregard this phone call, have your attorney call me today."  They leave the phone number, you call it, it does not answer.  When you hang up, your phone rings back with them on the line and they know who you are.  Caller has a strong middle-East accent and became irate when I cursed him.  I told him I was tired of being harassed by their phone calls and that I was going to report him to the authorities.  He yelled "are you threatening me" and I told him I was not threatening him, I was guaranteeing him.  He yelled at me to shut up, so I did by hanging up promptly.  No more calls this week

I am receiving the same phone call from a David Watson. He does have a strong middle-East accent as you stated. This is a scam, please do not give out any information what ever he tells you.

Same here....Started on Friday where he left two messages on my google voice mobile number (used only for work) and then called me at work.

Every Message they state something different, american law dept, new york law dept and throw in words to incite panic like "federal investigation"

I got the same message from some guy saying he was an officer and there way  a lawsuit filed against my name and social.  I am tired of this since it is the 3rd one I have gotten.

I would like to say that they are a scam!!! When theis david watson calls he can not even say my name right,for that matter he can't even talk english!!!! He threatens on the phone and then wants personal bank info. i just read that they are a scam!!!! if you owe on a payday loan you will be notifyed by the company not some  guy who can't even speak english or for that matter know what he is talking about!!!

These middle easterns or pakistani accents having morons called my place of employment non stop eight times. I threatened him with calling the police for harrassment and he stopped. The key is that you must state DO NOT CALL ME AND REMOVE THIS NUMBER. At that point it becomes against the law in all 50 states. And these [***] know that. They wont call anymore,I guarantee it.

I received a call like that today stating that he is an oficer Peter Jones and that there is a pending case against me. stated to him that I didn't get a loan from those people and I told him if he calls me again he will be talking to my lawyer and I hung up. Hasn't called back.

The man calling said some very awful things as to what he wanted to do to me.  My co-worker heard what he said and I have reported this number to Security.  This is a Government facility and actions will be taken.

I just received 4 calls from this number today.  They are asking for my Husband and they say he is my employee.  The man with a Very Strong Middle East Accent said his name is Office Peter Jones with a Police Department.  When we asked him what Police Department he was with he became irritated.  He wants my husband to pay $890 for something and won't tell us what it's for.  Wants us to send him a typed up document stating that he can take our money from our acct weekly with my husband's drivers license # on it.  These people have my husbands ss#.  my Husband spoke with him on the 2nd phone call and now their calling me again.  I asked the Office Peter Jones to stop calling and he said "shut up, let me talk to him". Who can I report this to?  I hate to have my husband call them back and get IRATE! Please help!

I think that "Sharon" is probably from the same company that threatens people with phony law suits. Obviously from another country, as many foreigners put American's dollar sign at the end and the speech pattern is EXACTLY as these scum bags would say without the script that they read from. I too have been caught up in the PDL trap. I KNOW without a doubt who I owe, owed and did not pay. Badgering someone on the phone with empty threats and saying that the police will come to get you (there is no such thing as debtor's prison since the 1600's) is disgusting. Every time I receive a call from these clowns, I add it to the FBI's Internet Crime website. The more numbers that we can put on there, the closer we can get to shutting these SOB's down and get they out of America. Don't answer these calls!

After calling me several times and me rejecting the call several times, I answered a phone call from this number 850-364-0871. The man and/or men that I spoke with was very hard to understand indian people by the names of Sean Black and Jack Wilson. (They both sounded like the same men to me). Besides i have never met an indian person by that sort of name. The man that i spoke to was saying that i have been sued by american credit services for a $5,000 cash advance that i did not pay back. This is ridiculous because i have not received any kind of cash advance. When I answered he stated that he was officer so-n-so and that i owed money and that i needed to resolve this or they were going to contact my employer. They also told me that i needed to have my manager and lawyer contact them at 845-481-8983 and so i had my manager call. They began to tell him that i owed money (every time was a different amount). It was mentioned to my manager that if we would pay $500 now that this would be resolved and we would not be arrested this evening. Then it went to $2000. My manager stated that he was going to call the local law inforcment and give them the phone number to be sure that this was all true. They said for him to do that and when he got there that he would be arrested and that they were downloading an arrest warrant for him now. They told him too, that they were going to send an officer to my home to arrest me if i didnt pay this money in 2 days. The entire time we were talking, they were very hard to understand due to the accent and the background noise. They hung up on my manager twice. They wouldn't hardly let you get a word in because they were talking so fast.

Buy a whistle or air horn and blow Officer Dumbo Jones' ear off. Or try testing your smoke alarm (holding phone close to it) while Dumbo's spewing verbal diarrhea. Enjoy.
