Received a call from this number.  The person said her name was Sandy Becker and asked if I could please return the call.  No reference to anything was given.

I also received a call on my work number from this Carolyn Johnson.  I called back because in my business we have to.  You never know, but again, no reference to anything.  I called back and she indicated that someone had refered her to me.  They are a boutique shop in the Northern Suburbs of Illinois but I forget the name.  I looked it up on the internet and I did find something, although I still don't know who they are.  Still not knowing if someone really did give them my number I was nice and said don't call me at work, call my home phone.  They just did and again no reference.  This is getting annoying.  I will call her back and tell her she is going about this the wrong way if she truly is legit.

This woman is a piece of work.  She calls me at work under the name of Sandra Becker or Marlene Johnson or Carolyn Johnson.  She is from "Bethany Boutique" in Buffalo grove.  I've told her not to call but she persists.  Either from her home in Woodstock # 815-206-4862 or from 847-913-1773.  I cannot find a listing for this boutique.

Just got a message from Marlene myself.  Thanks for these posts - I'm glad I didn't call back!

i just got a call from this person too (marlene johnson). Any professional will almost always reference where they are from.  Red flag that they didn't do this. so i will NOT call them back. thanks.

Got one of these at work today from "Paula Jones."  No message, just "please call...."  When I called back the person answered with "may I help you?" and wanted MY name.  I asked who it was and she said "Bethany Boutique in Buffalo Grove"  I said "no thank you" and hung up.

same thing. cant remember her name, older grumpy woman.same brands as Mark Shle and Bloomingdales...
Told me "dont you rememebr us" i said no- i have a screaming 3 month old to deal with right now" she pushed on "you wnated us to call you back when we have a sale." Me: "um no, I told you i am petitie and you dont carry petites so not to call me unless that had changed. "
her: well we carry some size 2s and  a few 0s."
Me: "did you not hear me say I have a 3 month old screaming?"
Her "yes I did"
Me: "and you decided now was a good time topush it with me? Never had kids have you ma'am?"
And I hung up. But teh call every 6 to 12 months. I think they get their lists from linked in or somehting like that and then call around the companies until they get a professional sounding title...

"Sandy Becker" called and asked a load of questions including whether my boss was on leave or whether she is out of town. She would not tell me what the call was regarding and the number she left was different from the number she was calling from.  She was difficult and insisted I answer her questions but did not want to give ME any information.

The "boutique" has called here many times over the past several weeks and I'm glad I found this thread because I didn't know they were one and the same person.  The person calling from the boutique said her name was "Carolyn Johnson".

Received a similar call a while back ago she said she was from the boutique and they were having a sale. Let her know not interested at this time. Called a 2nd time today and just left name and number no information.

I have received the same calls from the same person NUMEROUS times.  They call at work, at home, and my cell and I have no idea how they got all my numbers. I wonder what would happen if we actually did show up to this "boutique"? I am getting to the point where I want to report them because it's harassment. One night they called 8 times after 9 at night. It's ridiculous.

Got a call, same message, just "please return the call" and the 847-913-1773 number from someone named Mary Woods. When I called back she put me on hold. I hung up.

Got a vm from them. Just "Please call Carolyn Johnson at 847-913-1773" and hung up. Found this listing and then called anyway. I like calling these people back and digging for info.

She answered "May I help you?"
Me: "Someone left me a vm to call back."
Her: "Who was it?"
Me: "Carolyn Johnson."
Her: *long pause* "That's me. I am calling from Bethany Boutique in Buffalo Grove and we have...blah blah blah...Mark Shale and Bloomingdale's...Wanted to let you know about our special sale."
Me: "How did you get my number?"
Her: "I don't know. We get references from people. Maybe someone you work with? I see you are calling from X Corporation." Clearly she has caller ID. "We have a lot of clients from there."
Me: "So, you don't know who 'referred me'?"
Her: "Could have been a friend--"
Me: "Please take me off your solicitation list."
Her: "I need your phone number."
Me: "If you have my company name, you certainly have my number. Thank you."

Just received the same thing...Just said this is Mary Woods call me back 847-913-1773 and it was on my work phone. Thanks for the heads up. I tend to screen my calls at work because I get a lot of solicitation calls but this is a local area code so if I had been at my desk I would have probably answered.

I just received a phone mail from Mary Woods with "call me at 847.913-1773" This is my private work phone, not happy.  I'm glad I checked.  Thank you all for posting.

Got a message on my work phone from MARY WOODS.  I have had several calls from this number with different names.  I have never been to or plan to go to this store.  I have asked everyone calling to remove my name and number from their list.  They give me a hard time and keep talking, I just tell them I am not interested and hang up.  The last time they told the receptionist that they were a family member and asked for my home or cell number and made it sound like it was an emergency.  Thankfully the receptionist did not give out this information so they only have my work number which is bad enough!

Please call Carolyn Johnson at 847-913-1773 but the # she called from was 847-913-1798. Did not call back

Have been receiving phone calls from this number for months, as have several co-workers.  Similar conversations with this very persistent woman caller.  We are all perplexed as to how she/they got our work numbers.  Most irritating.

I've had calls several times from this number AT WORK.  Prior to a call from 847-913-1773, someone will call from the same area code and exchange 847-913-.  You answer they say "wrong number", but about 20 mins later the next call comes in from 847-913-1773.  I answer with my name since I'm at work, so now they have your name on the second call.  If you have a phone log on your work phone, check it out.
This last time, I called the first number back and got "John".  He didn't like being disturbed.  Imagine that.
This is some kind of scam and I'm reporting both phone numbers to the "Do not call registry".  www.donotcall.gov.

Receiving calls at office also from this number and heard some spiel about the boutique in Buffalo Grove.  30 minutes prior, I received a call from 847-913-xxxx asking if I was Chase bank.  

These are probably coming from those throwaway untraceable phones.

this same thing just happened to me. i got a call with someone saying wrong number and then 5 min later i got the second call, they left a message to call them back but after reading these posts, decided not to! this place is ridiculous and i hope they do not continue calling back!
